Ferengi whip..

So i finally got enough lobi to buy one of these things, i goto the lobi store at drozna station, and its no longer there? I understand we have a new lock box now, but does that mean previous items in the lobi store get removed when a new lockbox comes out?
Please shed some light on this.

    The jackets don't upset me since they weren't really canon Ferengi jackets, which I'm still hoping for eventually. (Maybe a TNG/DS9 themed merchant costume pack?)

    The whip being lost is a pain because it is the iconic weapon of a species.

    I hope they at least look into whip variants down the line.

    Honestly, given Trek's tendency for Ferengi episodes, I'd really like to see ONE GOOD pack with a Ferengi motif, proper costumes with lapels, whips (even if they're a touch different), a dabo wheel.

    Heck, even as a fleet starbase project. Have the option to let some Ferengi set up shop on the starbase with an optional extra deck with a Ferengi bar and Ferengi unlockables associated.

    That does raise an interesting point: just because it's not on the dabo store doesn't mean it's unavailable forever.

    I'd like a weapon crafting DO assignment that has a chance at exotic weapons like Nanopulse and Ferengi whips.

    item will get moved out and new ones it, but i would expect to see it back again at some point. they just want to drive people to the new sales, but there is no reason to not offer them again at some point.

    I'm sure they will return someday, but some items should remain. If not the Lobi store, then the Latinum Store and give people reason to use their Latinum.

    Good riddens, maybe I won't see so much people trolling Elite Ground STFs anymore with that piece of garbage whip.

    The whip is actually pretty useful against the Borg so I wouldn't call it garbage.

    It's a very weak weapon compared to most in terms of DPS. At long range a sniper rifle or split beam is better especially if its MACO or [Borg], or an Omega carbine is also good. Your short range weapon should be a pulsewave, preferably [Borg] or Honor Guard if you are KDF. The whip is just a fun novelty item, not meant to be a serious weapon.

    It isn't garbage though as that implies the weapon has no use at all, which is incorrect given player experiences using it.

    I really like that idea. Itd bea nice 'extra' assignment and further bring some life to the bases.

    Still I have to agree, There where many items that I wanted to aquire for my collection IE Jackets and Consoles, that would take me awhile to save up the Lobi for. . They should have allowed the Ferengi box items remain while promoting the Tholian items at the same time. . Chuck it up for another of PWE's worst moves/idea's. .

    Devs have said that they will rotate items. I don't understand that reasoning, but I agree with one of the posters above that the rotation should be through the GPL store.

    Better yet, there shouldn't be a Lobi store - it should just be GPL.

    of course cryptic is going to rotate the items in the Lobi store. Anyone who doesn't understand why must also not know why the McRib is rotated at McDonalds either.

    Thanks for the responses. I guess i just still dont understand why they cant just keep everything that has been offered in the lobi store, to remain in the lobi store. Its not like the lobi store has a whole lot offered anyway. I just hope it will be offered soon again.

    I don't understand. I would buy McRibs year round, not just a couple of times during the couple of months they have it.

    last time i checked, noone even mentioned what goes on in your mothers basement. You obviously have a problem with this game, and the people who run it..so simply go away..there is no room for you in this post, which simply asked a serious question..
