The 25,000 Fleet Credit Bonus pool is not searchable in exchange.
I posted the 25,000 Fleet Credit Bonus pool in exchange but it cannot be searched. If I search "ALL" category there are no matches..but searches on ALL appear to exclude matches if have large results. I limited search to Very Rare and still did not find it.
An ALL search on Very Rare for string "Bonus" or "000" does find the CXP bonus pool items, but no fleet bonus pool items are found.
When searching by category, I tried personal & ship devices as well as reward packs though none of those seem to be an exact match (as reward packs are usually things that can be opened vs just used).
It would seem that whatever "category" is assigned to these bonus pools does not have a corresponding Exchange category, though I would have hoped at least an All search would find it (otherwise why let me post it if nobody can find it). Is this a bug or have i overlooked something?
I used on and all it did was put "20,000" near the top of my HUD which hasn't changed even thought I've been earning marks on both the Fleet events and Nukara missions?
Purple booster as well, you'd think it would work.
They do work,
and as their name suggest they boost the fleet credits you earn when contributing to fleet starbase projects.
They don't give you more fleet marks.
The exchange has been broken sinse S6...as well as Foundry.

I've been contributing to my Fleet Starbase projects as well with no change.
I contribute (a lot), and have noticed a (significant) change. It is working. Also pay attention to the window that pops up after you contribute, the 20% boost can be seen from there as well

it's really inconvenient that the Exchange is still broken ... this is going on way too long now ... when I emailed Cryptic (support ticket) after s6 was released, they said it was supposed to be fixed by last week.
It really is TRIBBLE ... they could have created some new categories for the new items that are in the lock boxes ... and between The Exchange and the Foundry, this is just unacceptable that the s6 patch made things worse then what they were.

The Tribble patch notes from the other day listed a slew of fixes for the exchange. It will probably be fixed up by tomorrow. I expect to see the fixes in the patch notes that will probably hit the forum today.

The only items that are showing up are the very expensive ones being sold by Cryptic on the Exchange ... the "Search All" tab does not work. I've compared a search for "All" and in the category associated with "Lock Box Keys" and you get two very mixed results. The same with "Fleet Modules". The search function is so scrambled that nobody can make heads or tails of it.
I have 16 5,000 Fleet Bonus Cards and 9 25,000 Fleet Bonus Cards and when I try to post them, they don't show up on ANY search results. It's frustrating because other players are experiencing the same frustration with the system.

Do a search result for "Master Key" under the "All" tab. Now, do the same search under "Lock Box keys" tab. Explain to me how searches under the two tabs get different results?
When posting a Fleet Bonus Pool item, your item does not appear in the search results under the "All" tab. Trust me, I've tried. None of the items I have posted for the FBP items appear in any search in any tab.
When I post an item that is the lowest price on The Exchange for that item, then that item for Fleet Bonus Pool that I posted, should display at the top of the list, it does not. Unless "The Exchange" exists in "The Twilight Zone" (copyright CBS Productions), then "The Exchange" is messed up and needs to be fixed.

The searches have different results under different tabs because the amount of data the search engine is looking through changes the ability of the engine to find results.
Have you considered that the 400 shown might be the 400 oldest offers for that search? That would explain why a newer low bid would not show up.
Search engines are strange creatures. Sometimes something you would think would show up under one key word doesn't but does show up under another. This is true even of major search engines such as Google.
That isn't saying it isn't annoying, or that it couldn't be better. Frankly I don't understand why there is a 400 cap, given the number of results per page are limited.
Wrong. The search results should be the same ... if I search for "apple" under "ALL" and under consumables, the search results should be identical. If only 3 items pop up under "ALL", those same three items should show up under consumables.
With Master Keys, take a look at search results. Under the "ALL" tab, only Master Keys valued at $5 million and higher show up. However, when you search under "Lock Box Keys" tab, you get Master Keys valued from 1.8 million on up to 20 million.
Explain to me, your way of thinking, that lower valued Master keys don't show up under the "ALL" search tab.
You can spin it all you want, you can dress it up in pretty cliches and pretty words, but the simply fact is that The Exchange is broken and everyone on Star Trek Online has complained about it. I guess The Exchange really does exist in The Twilight Zone ....

TRIBBLE ... according to the patch notes for today's update, The Exchange is still not fixed. I want to know what's so difficult about fixing the "search all" tab for The Exchange.
For those who don't know, when I post the 5,000 Fleet Bonus Pool and the 25,000 Fleet Bonus Pool items, my posting of these items does not show up on The Exchange because of a glitch with The Exchange and there are a lot of players in STO who are complaining of this. There isn't even a tab that you can search to get results for "Fleet Bonus Pools". While some result appear in the "ALL' tab, the system does not reflect "lower priced" items that a player posts for sale in The Exchange.
Nice job, Cryptic. When can we expect The Exchange to be fixed so that we can post our items. Or, at least, include a tab for "Tholian Lock Boxes" or a tab for "Fleet Items".

last search for keys I did was under 'all' and included keys for under 2 mil, which puts a hole in your conspiracy theory.
I repeat, I never said it was working perfectly, merely that the information can be coaxed out of the system.
Then you're living in The twilight Zone because the search I just did under "ALL" has the lowest Master Key price at 8.55 million. Under Lock Box Keys, the lowest is 1.8 million.

That's all I've said. The "Search All" function just isn't working the same it's supposed to. When you "Search All", that function is supposed to search all items and display all items within your search parameters.
My point is that the "Search All" feature is broken. When you define the parameters for "Rare" or "Very rare" it expands the search to feature all items with your search parameter. However, the purpose or using "Search All", with all rarities and all categories, it's supposed to return all results, not just a "limited" range of items within your search parameters.
Search needs to be fixed because the "Search All" feature isn't working the way it should be working.

Exchange Searches have been wonky since the Dilithium Exchange went live. The Exchange shares database bandwidth with the Dilithium Exchange. The sheer number of player searches ended up breaking both services. This was right after F2P went live.
That's when a dev decided to make searches "give better results" if you include a 'Category'. It reduced the amount of results from searches which in turn stopped the exchange server from being overloaded.
That change fixed the exchanges from crashing. But, as evident, this was nothing but a patch and not a real fix. Searching under a Category won't work if the devs didn't assign one, or made it something unintuitive. Plus most people don't use Categories or Item Types when searching anyway.
Conclusion: Search is Borked. And Search by Category is spotty at best. Cryptic - get more hamsters for your exchange servers and restore our ability to do unfiltered / unlimited searches!
I haven't been able to figure out why the Fleet Bonus Pool items are being posted by other players and yet mine still won't display on the FUBAR Exchange. No matter what categories I search, what options I select as the search pattern, not a single frakkin' 5,000 Fleet Bonus Pool item I post will display.
It's like the devs won't address the problem, they keep telling me that they're going to fix it and yet with every patch, it's not fixed. Support Tickets are not answered by Customer Service and the in-game GM's refuse to respond to any tickets either. I'm starting to think that the entire customer service department at Cryptic/PWE has been terminated as everyone tries to get as much money out of players before the game gets dumped.
Has The Exchange become a tool only available to subscribers or are we seeing the end of STO?

No, he won't. If it were that easy, everyone would find them.
I'm sitting on 8 purple FC boosters and more than 20 blue ones.... I'd like to sell them.. hopefully the next patch addresses the exchange bugs.
It should be that easy.
