I find it rather amusing, borderline annoying, how people are all "wth a hotfix for tool tips and no fix for <insert issue>" yet they completely ignore the fact that this was probably a quick hotfix for those of us who.. dare I say... Lost Access To Our Items In Our Account Bank... The rest were probably fixes that were ready and waiting for the next patch...
Sure, I have beef with several aspects of this game and some outstanding bugs, but for goodness sakes... get a grip, get organized, post bug reports in the proper places and file some tickets. No need to go/get mad. It is a game, try and have some fun and avoid what annoys you until it is fixed.

Now imagine having your view change on you every 30 seconds in battle and being unable to fix it because the menu's don't even open in battle... ALMOST UNPLAYABLE GAME.
Should have been emergency patched the day of S6 release. Not ignored for a week and still not fixed. This is the most basic level of gameplay - our screen.
This bug has been fixed before (pre S6 - where they obviously didn't apply old fixes to the core), they already have it patched in their backups of old code. It should be a simply matter of applying the old patch to the new codebase.
It's just a question of priorities - and obviously lockbox descriptions are more important then being able to play the game.

It's just a question of priorities - and obviously lockbox descriptions are more important then being able to play the game.
Obviously? Oh, you're reverse engineering the game to look at the code every time a fix is done, eh? I love how so many players are developers and seem to know everything there is to know on how to fix a game or are telepathic, being able to read the developer's minds.
Mayhap it is just taking them a while to get it fixed? Hey, that's just as plausible as any other assumption, one based off of not knowing squat about what they are actually doing.
I do have to say though, if my camera was flipping out every 30 seconds, I'd be a bit upset too. Thankfully that is not an issue for me at all. I don't know why, but seeing how the majority of players are still playing and not complaining about this, it must be something of particular note. All I know is I have my camera set to follow my target and it always does, just the way I like it. 2 accounts, 7 characters, none experience this 30 second camera wackiness, so I just don't know.
I truly do hope they get that fixed for you, but seriously.. there is a forum for bug reports as well as a ticketing system. Mayhaps if everyone experiencing this filed tickets and reports, they would change any priority there may be at hand.

I would like to see less (or even no more) locked boxes and less new ships/cash cow gimicks and more bug fixes though, on this reasoning I do agree whole-heartedly and feel that PWE has dropped the ball. I do not blame Cryptic, they are doing what is probably dictated to them by PWE -- but then again that in intself is an assumption on my part.
When they do away with these ridiculous Locked Boxes and reassess the over-priced c-store is when I'll spend more money. Until then, I'm saving my dilithium and c-store points for any cheap ships and saving my money for real world needs. I'll buy the ships, not the milk-box's keys.

Follow target has also been having the same issue (according to forum bug reports anyway - not sure why you are not having these issues), but I personally use chase camera.
Most people use free camera, which is the one it changes to by itself, so the majority of players don't have an issue - but the ones that do are finding the game almost unplayable like this. It's not just that it changes view by itself constantly, it's also that being in combat prevents you opening the menu to even fix it until your already dead...
Think about that for a second. Every 30-60 seconds I have to die to continue playing. No point at all in me enterring an STF atm, as I might if i'm lucky get a whole 60 seconds of playable time between respawn waits.

That is odd, I can open my options in combat. How are you opening options? I know that if you're trying to get there through the ESC method and have it set to auto-target your attacker and are also set to attack back, the ESC menu will auto-close. However, I have the actual game options window (not the tiny ESC menu that links to options) set to CTRL+O and every time I press that, whether in combat or not, my options open up and remain open.

The menu issue may be related to ping time, i'm in australia. When something fires at you it selects them before the esc key message gets to the server, so you end up in an endless loop of unselecting current target instead of opening the options menu.

I've been using turn to target for ages for another issue where the chase cam starts swinging back and forward endlessly. Soon enough my keyboard will be full of "game fix" binds

Why are the keybinds not being fixed? Mines are supposedly important enough to be getting an overhaul, yet the error where "fire all mines" does nothing and "fire all torpedoes" fires torpedoes AND mines still exists.
This affects a lot of players from both factions, so how about letting us know when that's going to get fixed, please?
