It's already ridiculous the investment you must make to receive a random console. But to now see 200k in materials, plus the cost of "productive" doffs, turn out an utterly useless and valueless item is a real slap in the face.
You can NERVER claim that the prices is to high or to low... WE are the ones who set the prices on the exchange not Cryptic. Do not think Cryptic will adjust the game based on how the prices are on the exchange. They have an economy based on the value you see in the info.
So if you don't want to pay dont buy.
We "the players" are the ones to blame for the high prices.
What Cryptic can do (and are doing) is to limit the "flow" of ingame currency so that there is less EC.... so players can't afford the high prices. and if nobodey buys, no sale, and lowers the price.
Just a quick confirmation: We have not altered the data on these missions since before Heretic's departure. That includes odds of success, reward tables, and availability.
The availability of the requisite components (powered and unpowered artifacts) may continue to increase, thus causing prices to gradually decrease, since they are both available as an uncommon prize in the Reinforcements Duty Officer Pack.
As reassuring as this may sound, any recent changes ie. updates can easily bork those figures without you all being aware of it.
