chatlog backups?

im curious. i know eve online keeps chat log backups on your hard drive for one to dig up. im wondering if sto does the same? im looking for information i got few days ago regarding the new starbases and was hoping i could get it back via a chat log back up.

so if anyone knows if sto does this, i would like to know how. if it doesn't break the rules of the eula.

    It may be that I haven't found the option, but Cryptic's current games don't have an option to log chat to log files. The only things that I know you can write to a log file it is the game client's combat log.

    I think online backups are better than conventional backups. These are secure as well as affordable. So, i think one should choose online backup for storage of their documents.

    You can always connect to the game with an xmpp client and log the chat that way if you're a gold member, otherwise there isn't a console command to dump it to a file unfortuantly
