Right now I have:
- Galaxy Retrofit
- Intrepid Retrofit
- BoP Retrofit
- D'Kora
I also want to buy the Prometheus Retrofit. Naturally I'm planning to buy a fleet version of every possible T5 version starship that I bought from the C(Zen)-Store.
I'm also interested in the Defiant and Akira classes but I guess I'll settle down with only a fleet version of those ships.
As for the Klingons... Vor'cha, Corsair, Vo'quv and maybe Negh'Var - all fleet versions.
I find it all amusing, particularly the part where Dstahl thinks this system is going to be successful.
First, fleets need to build a Starbase that's way overbudget, designed to have delays, and when completed delivers only a slight improvement over existing capabilities, and this margin quality increase in ships must still jump through cost hurdles because the quantity of ships delivered per batch is small, and it's per character.
I can only imagine that when Cryptic set out to design a Starbase system, they thought it would be a grest idea to deliver the STO community the most f-d up defense program in Star Trek history. It's incredible how we are now playing a manifestation of a Lockheed Martin mimicked acquisition project.
But... there is a silver lining, if you are one of the defense contractors selling the DOFFs and other TRIBBLE on the exchange at maximum price, you're going to make a fortune in this defense industry design.
No worries though, Season Six also delivers the Tholian's, a map where you can farm items that are only useful in killing more Tholians!
Starbases, a bull$$$$ popsicle, and Tholians, a self licking ice cream cone. You have to love Season Six!
Welp, after one evening I now have 20k fleet credits on two of my 3 Fed toons. That part's easy. I mean, like, really super, not even any true effort required, easy.
I'm sure sometime in the future when my Fleet has a Starbase capable of producing a ship I'm interested in, I'll start working on the modules. Maybe.
Like probably sometime after the Fleet Assault Cruiser returns. By the way, did they pull the Fleet Vor'cha, too?
