OP is asking for actual Starfleet EV suits, not the current Dominion/Ferengi-supplied ones we use.

    They are, right now.

There's a scene in the STO F2P trailer with Starfleet personnel wearing EV suits that look more like the ones from First Contact, and in a thread right near this one there are screenshots of Klingon NPCs wearing a KDF EV suit.

OP, and many others, want these suits to be available for players.

The only Starfleet EV Suit I seen was by the Starfleet Mission Giver at the new Tholian Invasion mission.

Nobody during testing got it, so its suspected might be a Fleet reward of somekind.

I can guess where we will see them.

Updated Lobi store will probably contain a Starfleet EVA suit for a few hundred Lobi.

i think they are random rewards for the tholian missions.

if not, im sure we will get them eventually through one means or another.

The EVA suit from the Tholian ground set has a Gold color scheme as opposed to the Blue color scheme of the other new EVA suits from the upcoming Tholian Incursions. (NOTE: You do have to actually enable armor visuals to see these colors, otherwise the new EVA suits all look gray, even when activated)

The First Contact EVA suits seem to be limited to NPCs such as those shown on the NPC in the background of the two last pics and also NPC shown here in addition to the Security Escort NPCs.

That's my guess too. During test play of the Tholian missions I got a shield which is part of a new ground set (3 pieces). Maybe it works like the M.A.C.O./Omege Sets: if you collect all three of them you get a option to wear the new skin?

    Just an idea.

I saw this after I posted my comment. So I was wrong with my idea :D

I would like to see these added to the T.O.S. bundle

These in a Wrath of Khan bundle with these and a custom bridge set.

and these in an Enterprise bundle.

I agree with this. Either add them to the current era bundles (creating one for TWoK), or put them all in a bundle together. If you really want to get nostalgic, add the current NASA suits too.

I think it could be argued (IMO at least) that whoever did the prop designs for Wrath of Khan was probably the best at the job.

    The EV suits looked great.
The phase 2 Refit Connie is quite widely considered to be one of the best looking ships.
The phaser was pretty cool too, I can't find a picture but I seem to remember it fired 4 or 5 seperate beams in a line.
I even think the uniforms were probably the best / most realistic.

This is probably the best looking phaser however (prehaps the only decent thing from "Final Frontier"?)

It never made sense to me how TOS has worse technology style than Enterprise. Its as if between Enterprise and TOS, the Federation underwent a retro period.

Yep a definite +1 for this. Often wondered if the first ever suit was infact a Dominion one rather than a Star Fleet one you recieved. I hope these come out as variants.

TOS was made in the 60's, with a smaller budget and vastly inferior production tools for props and sets. Enterprise was made in the 2000's on a larger budget, with much higher expectations for production quality.

That's really all there is to it. A lot of fans would have felt it blasphemous to retcon the appearance of the TOS era to fit the new level of production quality, and at the same time they couldn't create an NX-01 starship that looked less advanced than our own computer desks.

    It's just how it is.

Read the Romulan War books. They explain why they went backwards in technology.

    Fixed that for you.

(And for what it's worth, I'd love to see some TOS and TMP/WoK suits, as well as the VOY/First Contact models.)

I'd gladly pay to outfit my toon and my entire away team in TNG/DS9/VOY Starfleet EVA suits rather than the shoddy Ferengi ware I currently have.

/throws money at screen hoping for this to happen

I've just noticed that on Nukara Prime, if one has the the Security Escort ground ability or the Shard of Possibilities reward from the 2800 FE series, your extra Quantum Shadows / Sec Escorts will all wear the TNG/DS9/VOY EVA suits, which protects them from the hostile demon-class planet conditions (in an earlier Tribble patch, they would burn to their deaths as they didn't come with the suits at the time)

Therefore, the artwork, in-game model and functionality all exist. It's just a matter of Cryptic conceiving some good stats and an appropriate inventory icon for them.
