(Fleet) Varanus Fleet support vessel (refit)

As of notice there shall be no Fleet Gorn sci-vessel?!
The Varanus is one of the most versatile and useful ships in the KDF arsenal and the only full fledged Sci-Vessel at all at T5 so we don't get a refit?

To compete with the superior FED sci-vessel certainly the hegemony would improve on it's impressive support ship design.

To have a Varanus with either a 4th Eng consol or 5th Sci would be a great boon for every KDF Fleet.

This ships are in the right hands worth goldpressed latinum it's weight for a team.
So i still hope we get a Fleet tuned version of it.

    I agree the Varanus Fleet Support is a fantastic science ship, we need this to stay in game at fleet level.
    I for one do not want to switch to the carrier option given by the Dev's as an alternative (and the reason they get a fleet variant? because they look nice.... what sort of reasoning is that?), I am a Science Officer and would like a Science vessel.

    Please put the Varanus into the fleet shipyard

    the fleet ship should perhaps be the tier 4 gorn ship, like it is with the orian ship

    The retrofit of a lower Tier version would maybe outrule the option to equip it.

    More then once did those little critters rly shine in (Elite) STF's depending on the team to know what they are good for and how to use them.

    Agreed, the repair drone platform is a godsend in STF's!

    Still no signs or Dev comments on any KDF fleet Sci Vessel.
