Vo'quv Active Doffs ?

quvbaghquvbagh Member Posts: 0 Arc User
Hello, just wondering what Doffs you guys use. I have two blue flight deck, recharge hangar(purples were 30m = no thx). And 1 purple gravity well one. Need to fill in two more slots, what do you suggest? Currently I have 2 technician space recharge boff one purple & one blue. Elite STF's are what I'm planning for. I do not PVP much. Thanks for any help/suggestions.

Well, the Grav doff and the 2 flight deck ones are a good start.
    Here is my current Fitting:

Yeah, i know, all Purple ^^ But it should also work out in Blue, used it before this.

But now for the facts. I use the 3 flight deck doffs to set my actual pet spawn timer below 10 sec. This allows me, to replace lost pets really fast or use the BoPs mainly as "Torp Launchers".
The Grav doffs gives me the chance to generate up to 5 GravWells where the deflector doffs gives me the chance to lower the recharge of the GravWell. In STFs as a Vo'Quv you take the role of the main dmg dealer agains structures (gates, transformers cubes etc) since even a fully fittet escort cant outdamage the BoP torp dmg against this structures.
My BoPs for exc. hit the gateway for 24k up to 80k dmg on crits, and this at an alarming rate.
Also play with the commands, before attacking a new target, use the recall and let them line up, so the attack command will initate a mean alpha strike.

As for the STFs in general, on Infected dont use the pets against the gens, since you cant control the dmg, let then in recall and attack the transformer if all gens are down. If something should go wrong, use the GravWell to slow the incomming nanits, shuld give you enought time to finish of the transformer. Go all out against the gate and the Cube afterwards, shoulden't be any Problem.

For Cure, i personally favor to circle the cubes and finish off the probes on flyby. Also here, dont let your pets attack teh cube if dont want to really destroy it, since 3 crits here are enought to finish it. Also here, the GravWell can really helpfull against the spawns.

For KA, chose 1 side, and let a nother player (favorable a escort with AoE) def your probes, and focus all on the gens and cubes, than finish off the transformers and gate and support your def with your GravWell, if needed. In most of my Games we are even faster than the 3 guys on the other side ^^
For donotra, either go the all dmg way and use BoPs or make it easyer for your team, and spam here with syphons.

Hope this could help you somewhat.

use 1 grav and 2 flight decks (as you are atm) plus 2 shield distribution officers, this way you can use an extend shields instead of an RSP (perhaps try epts1, es1/aux2sif2 or es2/aux2sif1)

I'm using the same mix as the OP.
