A couple of ideas from a newish player.

I've only been playing since just before the 2d anniversary, but I have a couple of ideas that might breathe some new life into the game.

1. Give people the option of creating a non-faction character, a mercenary type if you will. Give them access to part of the missions and some of the ships on both sides.

2. Let players capture some ships in PvE gameplay as spoils of war rather than just blowing them up.

    The first idea is a good one and a lot of people have been saying they would like to play as traders mercenarys etc.

    The Second one is not going to be profitable to PWE. what would be the point in selling ships if you can capture them in PVE

    I got some ideas for ya. get rid of these TRIBBLE TRIBBLE stacking abilities that create invincible ships. This game is such horse**** that everyone involved in it's creation should be jailed for ruingin such a potentially fun game. now apparently you can't do **** without having a specific setup. Bigpoint would have done a far better job with this. **** all you and perfect world, far from it.
