Everyone (including me) has been practically begging Cryptic to do a sovereign retrofit. All the posts about it were to make it more like the Enterprise - E. Everyone wanted it more "assaulty". Well now that Cryptic is doing that everyone seems to be complaining. I agree that it should maintain a certain level of tanking abilities, but the bottom line is that the ship is a BATTLE cruiser. A cruiser yes, but a BATTLE cruiser. It is suppose to be somewhat tactical (more than it currently is).

yep, every other ship has had retrofit and a refit why not the Sovereign class? DEVS did you see that we want the AC to be like the Enterprise E and look like it too. I want not only the new layouts and improved basic ship stats but also a new look too both the nemesis refit and a 2409 refit!.
I think we have very much the right to be entitled and to throw a tantrum given what Cryptic has done. Again, we fly the Sovereign because it's a nicely balanced Tactical Cruiser with a Commander and LT Commander Engineering slots.
If we wanted more firepower, people had the choice to go to the Exclesior.
If people wanted more Tankability, they could go for the Star Cruiser or the Galaxy Refit.
If people wanted versitility, they got the Odyssey.
But with the Fleet Sovereign Refit (which we've been waiting for a very long time), the Devs threw a wrench in our faces in completely changing her configuration, to something completely alien. They could've used that for the Heavy Cruiser, the Aquarius Destroyer, or even a new ship. But OHHH NO, they had to take away what we loved about the Sovereign.
Uh, obviously you didn't love the old Sovereign or you wouldn't be constantly spamming the boards with posts begging for a more pew-pewy version. What the hell is it you even want on this stupid thing? Two Lt. Coms? Why, so you can put yet another RSP on it?
By the way, people who want to ham it up as Shinzard in their own private Sovereign are not the only ones to suffer in this game when it comes to ships they like getting bad layouts. I don't like the JHAS but am I going to deny that it has a god-like layout?

all they want is the assault cruiser they have with the word fleet in front of it, and a second LTC station.
people, these fleet ships are not significantly better then whats already available! not enough to tip the odds into your favor or make up for any amount of skill difference you have with your opponent. the fleet ships should just be what we have with more interesting setups, not what we have unchanged!

Well it is still to early to decide if they are better than the standard versions. I'll hold my judgement till they are finally out.
Other the the bumped of tac boff station, maybe bump up the science one too since in sto lore the E and I guess other sovereign classes had all the same major refit done. Improved the turn rate a bit maybe 8 or 9, Improve warp core power a little, and shield mod. As well as fix the look of the ship e.g. add more windows, specially on the saucer section.
