I was looking at this the other day. A friend of mine used to roll new toons, buy up some common gear for it, PVP them all the way up the RA UH, squeeze every drop of dilithium, ECs and duty officers out of them, pull off the white gear, delete the toon then repeat the process, it was really fun! But this was in Feduary/March, the low level queues were choc-full of new and returning players leveling up. A geared up an old Klingon Captain the other day and spent two hours waiting for a single fight.
Problem is that there's no reason for players to go anywhere near the queues in order to level up, it's so easy to get to 50 your left with half the story line. This was raised by players to Stahl once - the idea being that players rush to the end, spent $25 on a ship, get bored then leave. No need to grind.

Keep in mind that there is no such thing as a KDF player below level 20-something (dang, I keep forgetting their actual starting level now), so if you're queueing up for PvP below that threshold you need to queue for Fed vs Fed in order to have a chance of a match starting at all.
I believe the lvl <20 FvK queues will be disabled when Season 6 rolls out to eliminate this confusion for future players.

Any plans for Ker'rat in this regard? It would kinda suck to lose it at low levels, but on the other hand it's curently very misleading - people may think it's a PvE area if they visit it early.

What he said^^
I think some already think that, as I on ocaision get "nasty" tells in game with the Commander characters that enjoy PvP with at Kerrat.

They should create a TOS Era-PVP Arena for low level ships only...
(and add the TOS Era-Klingon Battle Cruiser to the game)
I'd actually try PvP (again) if They did this.

How about a tier pvp systems with mark restrictions for each tier level. It would make pvp fun in any level ship and give different exclusive bonuses in every tier so people would want to compete and they would spend the time to develop all of their ships. Like i had a powerful tier 2 and tier 3 level ship. All of the weapons and counsels were purple i was consistently the leader in those matches. Yes all of the items and ships came from the free ship req and all of the weapons and counsels were bought on the exchange or found as item drops. With their level being appropriate to mine at the time. This would make low level pvp possible because people would want to compete in all of their ships in part to get the exclusive bonus. Also possibly make it a promotion requirement that you need to play in one pvp to be promoted to the next rank to encourage people to try it.

Heh, that will help with the confusion. How do you plan on introducing federation FVF queues? Wargame practice to prepare for actual klingon engagements?

You can actually use the D7 skin for the K't'inga and Koro't'inga. I do, as it's sleek and awesome.
