If you LOVE your ship

If you love your ship (whatever it is) how about saying why

(please note this is NOT an invitation to abuse other peoples ships however naff you may think they are or to all people names )

For example I love the Galaxy class (and varients) its an adaptable , multi role vessel that can handle pretty much anything thrown at it.
Without fancy upgrades , consoles or even replacing the weapons

It gets the job done and flys smoothly and cleanly and turns well.

Ode to the Galaxy Class

Oh Galaxy class cruiser so graceful you soar

I love my multipurpose oddy aswell as the bortas'que on the klink, granted yes I do have all possible consoles at my disposal but I chose to go that route to be different and will be running both ships for a long time.

I'm a ship and set collector so I plan to get any ships I do not have in my collection on both side (also great as collecting them let's me just update on the test server and test them out as they are released)

Love all three classes of ships in gen but always leaned more to the cruisers.

I love my Fleet Escort, as well as packing a punch and being able to take a beating I love the look of the Maelstrom skin.

I would have said my Defiant-R but lately that 3rd ensign tac on escorts bugs me.:redface:

I 'Love' my introduction ship because I could put wide nacels on it with a more custom paint along with some components and it's also very low' Gas' consuming

my favorite ship is my B'rel Retrofit. enhanced battle cloak, KHG and rule 62 torpedo bonuses, a combination of high yield and spread torpedo abilities, plus commander sci for STF crowd control.

yes, keeping the ship alive requires a combination of luck, black magic, and a bit of piloting ability, especially in elite STFs. however, the combination of firepower, stealth, and sci makes it incredibly potent and useful. I might not be able to save every messed up group, but I punch far above my ship's weight.

the B'rel is in a class of its own.

For STFs you might try this:

With 2x Purple Conn (Tac Team) DOFFs

• TT1
• HYT 1 > APB 1 > CRF 2 > CRF 3
• HYT 1 > APB 1 > APO 1

You can also swap CRF 3 for CRF 1 and APB 1 for APB 3.

I love my Attack fighter, it is super-fast, turns on a dime, and unloads a really big punch. With the different BO slots I have 3 shield heals and one hull heal, and the Jem'Hadar set really adds punch to this baby.

i love my guramba siege destroyer, looks like a black spider that is jumping at you. The transformation sequence is epic.
i use it on 2 characters, one is called VOIDRAY, the other one TODESSTERN.

I love my piggy, go ahead and laugh, she may not be the prettiest gal at the ball, but at the end of the night, when everyone else is limping back home to get repairs, she's still dancing the night away. even elite Donatra has trouble punching through her hull. and the advanced interceptors make a nice addition.

The Star cruiser I'm in now doesn't have many bells and whistles, but she's a solid, durable ship that can take a hell of a lot of punishment. There's nothing like having an elite tac cube, a negh'var, and a raptor throwing everything they've got at you and coming up short.

I am rather fond of all my escorts, but the new Armitage class is my favourite with the Defiant (even though I also hate that ensign tac slot!) running a very close second.
I like my Sci ships as well for some good crowd control :biggrin:

I love my Advanced Escort. Not only have I customized it to look like an X-Wing Speedboat, but its capabilities as a Science-leaning Tactical ship creates a zen-like balance in combination with my Engineer Captain.

I love my B'rel retrofit.

One of the most loved or misunderstood ships in the game, depending on who you're talking to. I can ''fire everything!'' from cloak, turn around, and enjoy the show as everything hits in the span of just a few seconds.

Nothing in this game is so satisfying to me as watching a Federation Oddyssey ''pop'' when my tricobalt finally hits. It's also pretty satisfying to pop these smug new Armitage captains.

(This was a tough decision. My close 2nd is my old-school K'tinga that I run STF's in. People crying for a T5 K'tinga are pansies. The K'tinga is fine!)

I really enjoy flying the multi-vector assault, I think the DPR and maneuverability of the Jem'Hadar ship is awesome, but I LOVE my D'Kora, Quark's Treasure.

I love it because it's big and chunky and orange and looks like it would have the turning capability of a truck. I also love it because it is the greatest shield-stripping agent I've seen. One pass and I can waste almost all of Donatra's shields on elite STF.

I had one person grumble that I was flying it in an elite STF. He changed his tune when Donatra's shield were gone!! (Wish it had a tad more DPS, but you can't have everything. If you did, where would you put it?)

my favourite is below. also cause of its handling and abilities, but more of its design. only ship i run, which is not in its vanilla skin. tried to get as close to BoP design as possible (don't llike the sight of the akira in vanilla very much)

I love my Lil' Luna, the USS Athena. It is small, unassuming, yet full of surprises. She can take any hit, and throw it back to you. She is fast and maneuverable, and has plenty of tricks up her nacelles.

I love my ship because ive been in love with the Nebula class from the first time i saw it on tv. Add to that the fact that it makes me feel like im flying a cruiser as a sci officer. Its a tough ship, and the universal slot gives me the option to make some interesting Boff combinations. Personally i wont ever fly another ship.

On my Klingon tac i love the negh'var. Although he usually flies a raptor (i only use the Negh'var if im feeling an urge to roleplay a bit more (in my mind)) I love its design, and what it used to stand for.

My favorite thus far is the Guramba...it just looks awesome with Borg gear on it and is pretty solid in elite STF's with the right setup and gear on it...

I LOVE my Defiant Re-fit, when I can take out three assimilated Negh-Var's in less than thirty seconds it makes me love it even more.

And honorable mention goes out to my vanity ship, the Galaxy-X. I wish I had this ship with the same stats as a Defiant re-fit....one can only dream......

And one more honorable mention goes out to the beautiful Excelsior class, my first love before I ever saw a Galaxy class. I just wish it felt as powerful as it dd in the Starfleet Academy:Bridge Simulator and Klingon Academy games.

I love my B'rel its the classic underdog and anti hero of the game. Its squishy but packs a punch. Every victory is ten times sweeter in a B'rel

When I first saw the Dev Blog for the Armitage, I physically jumped out of my chair and shouted "YES!" Even more awesome was knowing I could use the Akira skin on it. I won't need any other ship because I have my Tier 5 Akira!

Nothing is more awesome (and hilarious) than my ship firing 88 torpedoes at once! 8 targets + Photon Defense Console + Torpedo Spread 3 = Hysterical Laughter!

As for the hangar bay...would you like even more death-by-sugar frosting on your Armitage cake? Yes please!

My favorite ship is the Sovereign. It's sleek and powerful, and even if it's not technically the best Cruiser in the game right now, mine can shrug off almost anything that's been thrown at it so far, while it's in its offensive configuration.

Well I think for Class its the Constitution: Why? "ST II. like some others Starships that are Iconic, trampfrators. Stile. This thread prooves we need to be able to rank up hour Ships. Here 90% are saying the Fav ship is the one that does the most damage, takes the most damage, or blowsup the most things. Few are saying anything about stile. It took me dozens of years to get used to the Galaxy, and then they changed it. In this game We have had way more fun with the Heavy cruiser from Commander than anyother, When captain came up we got the galaxy. However, My Helmsman drives Cruisers as Mareo Andrettie, While the Captain is way to busy screaming Getout and push, Other people are Scrapping my ships. Now thats something, it be fun to add reckage from destroyed ships. At least I could clogup the Other guys intakes. I've found out that Eng'Capts, can tank Escorts, out fly turn shoot anyother ships for the Size. My pore Cruisers and Sci ships, just get vaporized. Case in point one PvP match and I got slapped round, for hundreds of thousands, damage, Reckage. Everyware. Funny Funny! Hey and Really 88Torps! should call that the Piano gambit?
