That is actually a limitation of a non gaming keyboard called ghosting. This game does suffer from lost commands but the input number seems to be well over 7 abilities "simultaneously".
I think he was just explaining that having your weapons on autofire gives u overall more damage output, and since the old day 'macro'ing the fire cycle sequence is really of no value anymore these days its probably best for any pvper to use autofire, its just sad if your weapons arent firing while they 'could'.
hehe
Seems hax methods spread around fast. did u guys reverse engineered my tool or what?

Nah he's definitely talking about Key Ghosting given the full length of his post. Autofire helps reduce this, because on a non gaming board the space bar is smashed less often, which means far less chances of losing keystrokes on your board end of things.
Now as far as the Horrid UI is concerned, that's another kettle of fish that is entirely dependent on whether or not The Cryptic is feeling generous to you or not.
Autofire I've found tends to be extremely buggy, particularly if you are crapping out mines on a regular basis. Autofire also can lead to you vaping team mates when you get AMSed.
Remember when you had to invite people to a team? Or when FBP only worked vs beams? Ganalda station used to be filled with players, now it's a dead zone.
I used to get on a team with random guys and we'd stay together for hours at a time. Playing arena after arena after arena. Who were these people, are they still here? you were awesome.
You had to Que for cracked, solar and briar separately.
If I remember right it was 2 duals or 3 heavies to get the cycle right, maybe that's backwards. or was 3 duals and 4 heavies? either way you get the point.
It wasn't until I hit max level that I found out what Kerrat was.
Playing FvK was easier then PvE "if you were the K"
This is all a month, maybe two after launch. Good times. I kinda wish I'd have tried to get into one of the old kdf fleets, instead of waiting over a year. Where'd they go? Come back to the Red side!
It's all about forcing the other side to react
Some folks here like to have huge burst damage
Some folks here like to support and fly cruisers
Some folks like klingons
Some folks like feds
I just like to get inside someone's head, making them react to whatever tempo I set the battle to
"No, there is no real problem with P2W in STO. Obviously, if you fight against someone with an equal level of skill in the game, better equipment will give you an edge. But usually, it is the skill level that determines the outcome, not the P2W." -Logimo
I think we need one. Post your random PvP thought of the day, be it a word, a sentence or several paragraphs, be it an observation, a question, a remark, a witty comment, a complaint, an inspiration.
My random thought was this:
The Rythm of PvP is determined by cooldowns and durations.
15 seconds System Cooldown.
30 seconds EPTS, duration, 30 seconds global, 60 second cooldown, 30 seconds to next EPtS
10 Seconds Cannon Rapid Fire III, 30 seconds global, 60 seconds cooldows, 30 seconds to Cannon Scatter Volley I
Beam Overload 1 shot in the next 30 second, 30 second global, 60 second cooldown
Transfer Shield Strength 15 secnd duration, 45 second cooldown, 30 second global
Tactical Team, 10 second duration ,30 second global
Enemy RSP running out in 10 seconds
Next Allied Subnuke in 20 seconds
Tactical Initiative ready in the next 30 seconds

What will kill the PVP queues first?
Vasty over-powered premades that take delight in bullying pugs to the point where they just don't want to do it anymore?
Vasty over-powered ships that get released without bug fixes in order to sell more?
Vastly superior players that increase the skill gap?

what other mmo can you so easily and completely change your powers?
Take a Science Capt. If I'm feeling in the healing mode, I can easily hop in a big cruiser and heal like anyone else. Or if I'm in a mood for grav wells and ss, easy, in a few minutes I can be in another ship with a hole new load out. I want to give tacs a run for their damage money, no problem, heavy cannons a few tac buffs and I can do it.
I like STO, love it sometimes hate it others. But I always keep playing, even when I have other games that should be more fun to play. I figure maybe it's because I can change almost anything I want to fit a situation or group.

Not an Escort.
Not a BoP
Not a Cruiser without EptS
Not a Carrier without EPtS and 3 DBBs
A PvPers ego
Agree/Disagree?

LOL a 1v1 queue, what are the odds of a decent pvper to encounter a total noob? 99.9%. Boring.

Oh i remember those times. Was always fun with people who blocked group invites.
