Coming Back After a LONG Afk session

So, It's been quite some time since I've played STO, I believe within a month or two of it's original release. I was worried about the F2P bit, and devastated by which company took over STO (PWI, seriously, of all the companies out ther!?). But I must say: I'm quite enjoying the game so far! It's been a wk. and I've gotten my first original char to Vice Admiral and am waiting (going on 2 days) for PWI to process my ZEN order so I can pick up whatever VA ship I choose. I've always been a fan of huge carrier ships, So I'll likely go with the Federation Caitian AROX carrier since it's got an extra hanger, and has science slots, etc. Though the separation ships also look cool to me as well.... The Odyssey series, and the multi-vector... So many choices!
Anyways it's good to see the community here is still active! One thing I've always found curious about STO is that the in-game chat usually seems quite quiet, it's hard to get a convo going unless you're in one of the major hub areas, but the forum side of the community has always been quite talkitive and helpful.
Any other long time vets coming back to STO? I rather like where the game is at atm, and have had a blast here so far, can't believe I stopped playing a while back!
