I'm not entirely sure whether this should be posted here (under Community Feedback) or instead, under the Information and Discussion section of the forums. Needless to say, if this is the incorrect location, moderators; feel free to move this thread.
Now I'm a little curious as to how the studio works with this game. There is a production/development team, this is obviously else we wouldn't have a game, but are the STO staff split up working on different things, or are you guys all stuck together working on the same thing?
An example? Season 6. Is everyone in the office currently working on getting season six finished, then you'll work on bugs, upgrades, new models ect after, or, is half the team working on Season 6 with the other half of the team working on continual problems / requests ect?
It seems the former is the case, and if that is true, I feel the need to ask you to split the team up. Don't get me wrong, everyone wants season six as soon as possible, but not without current issues being dealt with.

- How long have people been asking for more Klingon hair styles? Say someone wants to make a true TOS-Klingon. They can't. Someone else might want to re-create a B'elanna Torres character. They can't. Someone might want to be a little spontaneous and go for something random.
- How long have people been waiting for Caitian hair styles? Granted, we did get some, but I know a good number of people were wanting to re-create their own M'Ress from the Animated TOS show. That can't be done with the current hair styles, can it?
- How long have people been asking for the windows to be fixed on the Negh'Var? They are changeable on the rear-pod, but not the ship itself.
- How long have people asked for the Galaxy textures / model to be fixed (last I checked, this hasn't been, apologies if it has). Either way, there is / was an error with the model (or texture) wherein it wasn't centralized.
- How long have people been asking for more KDF ships? It seems you're focusing on the Federation a little too much. There are Klingon players out there, and they're being pushed back in line for continual Federation releases. We've recently got the T5 Akira, and there is mention of an Assault Cruiser retrofit in addition to an Andorian cruiser. That's three extra ships for the Fed players with nothing for the Kdf players (taking notice of how many ships the Fed players already have over the Kdf ones).

Only five small examples there, I can go on and add a whole bunch more. Suffice to say, I might be wrong about how the team works, but it seems (currently) that you're adding more and more news stuff without worrying about the old. Wouldn't it make more sense to fix the old and then work on the new, else you're only ever going to be making new things, thus leaving a trail of old problems behind you.
New toys are great to play with (a little costly mind you) but still fun. That being said, people do still sometimes play with their own toys, and if they're not working to the standard they should be, people are going to get more annoyed.

It's probably true that the question(s) wont get answered by an official member of the team, though there may be gamers here who have some internal knowledge of how the team works, thus be able to answer the questions asked.
Worse case scenario, this thread gets burred along with many others, but as it still stands, I'm hopeful of some form of response. I fear I already know some of the answers, though feel it would be an insight to see what the team has to say for themselves (if anything at all).
