I hear you Klingons QQing all day long about how under appreciated you are, and how you always get second best, how you don't have enough ships or missions or costumes.
We Romulans don't even get our own ships and uniforms.

It's a fair cop.
That said, it would be nice to have a Romulan faction. I have no idea why more missions aren't just geared to "Ah <rank> <character>, it's nice to see that the <ship name> has arrived. We were hoping that someone from the <faction name> would assist us."
Heck, I'd just be happy if I could paint my ship green.

You should learn your history. Back in the 2150s, Starfleet was mostly corrupt and it was costing us a lot of ships and officers. Whether you like Sato or not, you have to admit she did get things back on track.
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone

Good riddance. The last thing we need are officers getting drunk, even on their off-hours when they could be called on duty at any time.
