Can we have a new fourm please... this one is bad on the eyes. :mad:

    Just the eyes? It's bad for the brain itself too!

    I would now place new forums as my top desire for development priority.

    These forums are very poorly laid out, options hare hidden in several odd places, make inefficient use of space, and have poor contrast compared to the last forums.

    I was told earlier today by a PW employee that that is not a valid reason for them to make any adjustments.

    My words, not theirs. But that;s what it boiled down to.

    This is far and away the most horrible thing that I have ever seen on this site yet. Nothing is intuitive, we've lost everything....ugh....

    God this is painful.

    Hire a web designer or something PLEASE!

    Just because the game has gone FTP doesn't mean you need to downgrade it to LOOK like its FTP

    Having lurked on the old forums for a while, I think this is quite an upgrade... but then again, I've been with PWE for 3/4 years now, I'm used to their design style... and I prefer white on black :3

    Outbound links are not permitted in signatures as to not promote non-Perfect World Entertainment games, this is why links are disabled in signatures except for PWE staff and board moderators.

    The fact of the matter is, the old forums were still locked into the account settings that if you weren't a paying customer, you couldn't post. Now that STO is free, they needed to change this. So they were broken, now it's fixed.

    There is a clear distinction between say having a fan image of the Battlestar Galactica in a sig (with some related ST/STO text/image/context), and openly having your sig as an advertisement for Battlestar Galactica Online, with links to boot.

    If they don't see that distinction, then we truely have lost all hope.

    Don't like it, don't post. That's the general answer you'll get from any PWE member. This change is to get STO in uniform with the other PWE websites.

    Seriously? I mean... SERIOUSLY? Go read another RoC if you want, same rules apply everywhere.

    We spent YEARS tweaking the old forums to get them just the way we wanted them, tweaks like removing the post count...
    All of those little adjustments are GONE now. GONE.

    Why does it have to be uniform? Why is that important?
    Customer satisfaction is what SHOULD be important.

    The forums were the ONE thing that nobody ever complained about.
