The Bortasqu's BoP is, for a simple launch, a beast. Its combo of subspace jump and quad-cannons can ruin the day of anyone foolish enough to ignore it, and it's pretty darn tough for just a little bird. I jumped into an enemy signal contact mission with this little guy out and, out of curiosity, just sat back and let it take on a Galor by itself, and the little thing nearly blew the Galor to smoking rubble with my only contribution being a single heal.
So yeah, it's an awesome little ship, I might even go so far as to say that it beats out the Aquarius escort that the Odyssey gets.

Did u cough buy the Bortasqu set or just that one alone?
I'm still not sure which one of the ships I should buy - I definitley will not buy the pack. The "command" version power is somewhat to easy to counter from what I have read in the forums.
The "tactical" version with the autocannon sounds interesting - but I assume it is a front directed (45 °) cannon weapons. But with a low turn rate the Bortas'qu is more qualified to be a beam boat - so heavy forward directed weapons are of no use since you want to keep the target on your side.
However, I also dislike the poor control of pet ships in STO ... which means I'm also not completly happy with the "war" version.
On tribble I found that two voq bop where more powerful than one bortas bop.
Doesn't matter. Unless the faction is supported I won't buy it. Bought the fed version though. I find its escort weak

Still not sure ...
You know the command cruiser with the consoles fron the other two would not be so bad....

If you happen to own the subspace jump, I would pick the Tactical. Else pick the War Cruiser. With 5 neutronium, you would be at 50% resist across the board on your hull and still have 4 tact slots +BoP to squeeze in somewhere if desired.
I own the pack, but I am a sucker for universal consoles.

Not good enough to pay 4000 C store points for all three. Maybe if they introduce the elite borg tac cube torpedos as a set bonus, I would think about
