Universal Boff slots universal, or why should I be penalized for flying a BoP?

So, if Universal Boff slots become common, what's the BoP losing a Boff slot for again?

The Odyssey Tactical... 3 fixed Boffs plus 2 Universal Boff slots, including a Universal Lt.Commander slot. 10 consoles, 4 device slots, 4/4 weapons, 10 consoles (3 Tac, 4 Eng, 3 Sci), plus the hull & shields & such.

The B'rel... 4 Boff slots (all Universal), 2 device slots, 9 consoles (3/3/3), 20K less hull.

The BoP pays for being a BoP in many ways. 1 less Boff. 1 less console. A LOT less hull. Fewer device slots.

If other ships get what BoPs have, why should I be penalized for flying a BoP again?

I love Birds of Prey, but if they are rethinking top-end ships & Universal slots, can they rethink some of the reasons why BoPs must have less (especially the B'rel Retrofit, which is also a lvl 50 ship)? Toss us a Warrior-level Boff slot, please?

Cryptic has no in tension on buffing previous ships.
Also, not many at cryptic pvp let alone pvp in a bop.
So the bop will not move

You probably won't ever see them retool older ships, but you may see reworked versions on the cstore in the future with the kind of options you are talking about. It would come down to demand and how much can be made from adding it.
