Hey Guys!

I was considdering buying the destroyer to get the PLC, but before I spend the money I'd like to know if the console can be equipped on any ship and whether or not it's any good.

The info given states it passivly absorbs power from enemies you shoot at and give it to you... Where does this power get siphoned to? Weapons? Shields? Equally among everything? How large is the boost? Does it cap out?

Thanks,
Quiiliitiila

You can use it in any console slot, on any ship. It's a passive buff to all your weapons. It's effected by a science skill, flow capacitors I think. It will drain energy from the target and increase all of your energy settings.

I would say depending on your own weapons and tac buffs you could expect to see any where from 10 to 15 increase on all energy levels. For as long as you are firing.

I myself would never buy the ship just for the console. I have both, wanted the ship for leveling a new guy. But the console is pretty cool. might fit nice in a sci slot on a BoP

I like it, I use it on a Kar'fi along with the Aceton Assimilator and a little bit of energy siphoning , I think it does well but I haven't done any elite stf's or anything with it yet since I only made Lieutenant General last night.

Just bought it and I've been loving it so far! My weapon power never drops below 110 now that the console's running, and it's boost to my other systems are very nice. A must have for anyone willing to spend the money.

How's that Aceaton Assimilator? Is it any good?

I find it to be very effective. It has good survivability under direct fire, and the energy drain it creates is quite noticeable. If you can get an enemy fighting in the vicinity of two of them, they will find their options for attack quite limited.

AA's are effective countermeasures for Beam fire at Will, as that skill has 100% accuracy but randomly targets, for speed tanking ships like birds of prey. Drop one, and they either take damage or stop firing, which is important since you can no longer benefit from defense agaisnt their attacks.

It helps agaisnt anyone who CRFs you in a solo merge, too. But why would they do that?

As far as I know, both sides have toys. Antimatter spread is one I find particularly frustrating, an unhealthy blend of jam and scramble. Nadeon detonator's not too funny when you're hit with it either, effectively giving any ship the ability to PSW at range.

Don't you mean more toys to create Fed tears...? :p
FvK has been terrible ever since they gave the whiners who couln't be bothered to L2P FvF.
Whatever, the Feds have their own fine selection of shineys, have fun with them.

And, yes, the leech console rocks!

That PSW torp can be just as bad as the actual ability and seems to be buffed by the same buffs, giving good damage and a 1-3 second disable everytime. Couple the fact a smart user can drop a HY right behind it and it becomes a very capable console.
Just becuase some of the more elite PvP'ers find no use for it doesn't mean it has no use.

I just got this console and spec into it a little.Im using it on the guramba engine power in siege mode for me is 46 out of siege mode it is 56 with this console in siege mode it is 60 out of siege mode it is at 70.I put 6 pts into the modifier for .I cant remember the rest of the power levels with it equipped.

But i would say it is worth it i know for one my power levels never drop below 80 for weapons. And when it does drop i found they climb back up a lot faster now. Hope this helps

I consider it one of, if not the best console in the game. If you have trained your character skill correctly. you can run a BoP on even power settings and pretty much have them all maxed depending on your ship build.

Flow Compacitors and all areas effecting a bonus to power will pretty much do the trick.
