TRIBBLE Maintenance and Release Notes - February 15, 2012

We will be bringing the Tribble server down for extended maintenance to apply a new update.
ST.17.20120210a.10

General:
  • Updated the icon for DS9 Costume Pack so it now matches other packs that you have to open manually.
  • The icon for Duty Officer packs received through lock boxes now matches the icon from the C-Store booster pack.
  • Updated Photonic Displacement:
    • It accurately makes a duplicate of your ship when activated.
    • Can now also be used on any ship.
    • Photonic Displacement is not available if your ship is in any type of modification mode like Saucer Separation or Multi-Vector Assault Mode.

Duty Officers:
  • Updated duty officers to compensate for extensive name duplication issues.
    • Some duty officers, for example, most duty officers from packs, may have their name and/or portrait changed.
  • Increased some incorrectly small critical Dilithium rewards in several places.
  • Updated Second Wave Feature Series duty officer assignments:
    • No longer take up an assignment slot.
    • Now use updated outcome rigging.
    • Now take advantage of specialization selections for the success outcome.
    • Increased rewards.
    • Correctly require two duty officers to start.
    • Adjusted some slot requirements.
  • Corrected some typos with the new rare commodity assignments.
  • Changed the new DS9 special commodities to display as rare/blue.
    • This is a cosmetic change only; no functionality has been altered with this change.
  • Updated Haggle Duty Officer assignments:
    • Shortened assignment lockout times.
    • Increased rewards, particularly commodities on critical rewards.
  • Added new assignment that uses prototype plans.
  • Added new assignments rewarding Orion (Fed) and Vulcan (KDF) Entertainer Hologram duty officers.
  • Resolved an issue with Commendation XP boosts not being bankable.
  • Resolved an issue with Energy Signature Inversion text descriptions.
  • Altered Mobility Shield duty officer assignment availability to be shipboard.
  • Revised text for Tactical Hologram duty officer assignment to make more sensible.
  • Clarified text for duty officer inventory increase slots to make more clear is character-unlocks.
  • Development Scientist duty officers now have an active roster space power.
    • This is the Science version of the Maintenance active roster power, but for Science Team rather than Engineering Team.
  • Added a Conn variant active roster power.
    • This is the Tactical version of the Maintenance active roster power, but for Tactical Team rather than Engineering Team.

Known Issues:
  • When changing your ship’s bridge to the Belfast (Defiant), the interior name may appear wrong.
    • This is only a UI bug and does not affect bridges.
    • Open bridge selection, then open Layout selection to fix this.
  • In the tailor, the Vedek Hood does not have C-Point icon next to it.
  • Photonic Displacement Console:
    • Escape pods on ships are not darkened when using the ability.
    • Deep Space Science Vessel photonic ship is spawned when using the ability with a Science Vessel or Science Vessel Refit
    • The ability can be activated while Saucer Seperation is also active.

    I don't think that is what that means. That is just the list Known issues. Probably going to say the same thing for tomorrows Holodeck patch if they're not able to fix it in time.

    It would specifically say in the notes if it was up for testing.

    • Transwarping to the start of Second Wave as a Klingon on any ground map causes the Mini-Transwarp Device in your shoes to accidentally activate.

    Well that might be... interesting? :eek:

    Can we please get a fix for kit abilities on missions that use social maps?

    Second Wave is not nearly as much fun for engineers when several of our abilities are disabled.

    Dang, they just took tribble down for maintenance, single popup dialogue and boom disconnected.

    Hope it's not to remove Bajor ground, I didn;t get to finish exploring :(

    LOL No, not really. We have to do some internal testing. My guess is it won't be ready for a few hours yet. :)

    No, we just locked off Tribble. Holodeck is still operational. :)

    I know but I saw the update notes so I was gonna spend my time on Tribble :(

    Why is there no fixes for Second Wave? It's impossible for Klingons to get the Smooth Talker Accolade because of the Greyed out dialogue.

    And where is the STF fixes with the Team Booting, players being warped to the beginning of the map, the Borg getting Jedi Leap capabiliy or for their super walk?


    EDIT: OH Here's another game bug. KDF unable to being invited to STFs teams inspite Team Settings being open for Team invites. :mad:

    Yeah, I'm wondering about that too. Not only that bug, but the bigger "restart from the beginning after doing the whole mission" bug.. I still have 15 characters to run through Second Wave and I don't relish having to do the mission 2-3 times (or more) for one completion so I can move on to the next.

    I done it with my KDF toon, O.o guess that bug doesn't affect me...

    BUT

    I did reject and then did reply for Dominion FE again, and after I finish and I'm in Bajor System, I can't start Standoff mission... wich I did start and complete on Fed side...

    whats up with that?

    Standoff starts on Bajor ground now, which means it's temporarily unavailable.
    (The Bajorans are cleaning up the place in preparation for their big unveiling this weekend.)
    Also, these are sounding more like Holodeck issues than Tribble issues, so they should be posted in that forum, please. :)
