KDF need their own music

    This is what I have got as a ringtone on my iPhone, it would be awesome! It probably won't happen though due to licens issues and what not. Just like a doff app would be cool for the iPad, it would feel really Trekkie.

    Yeah I wish they'd incorporate more of the music from the films and the show into the game, but maybe it costs too much or something.

    I wish the old Klingon music on Kronos would actually play like it use to. Ever since the holiday event the music there has been messed up, and plays essentially what amounts to 'non combat space' music. Something happened when they were tweaking music from the holidays and they never repaired it. I reported this bug on the forums and directly, but it hasn't seen a fix. Hopefully this thread will shed light on it. I too agree though, that more Klingon oriented music would be nice, and I could see other types of music being incorporated in other areas, like something more 'Orion' playing in when you enter the Orion slums.

    I use the Gears of War 2 soundtrack when I play my Klingon. The music's almost perfect for trolling around the universe blasting anything that looks at you wrong.

    Being a member of the fan club Klingon Assault Group and the fact that my ship is lucky to work with the Chicago based play Klingon Christmas Carol I brought this subject up with the Sci-fi band Il-Troubadore ,they did the music for the past years production and they are big Klingon fans.

    I spoke to them them about this a few weeks ago and told them about the game and the need for good klingon music and asked them to please contact cryptic. They do much translated works in particular Klingon themed music and several songs they have rights to perform from TNG and DS-9. While I can't speak for them I'm hoping. Hopefully they will do so because these guys are just awesome at what they do. We had a great new years eve singing and partying in Klingon!

    Actually a lot of the default music sounds less appropriate for Feddies than Klinks. The ominous banging war drums in sector space (and Vulcan IIRC) come to mind.

    Step 1: Get the motion picture soundtracks that contain Klingon music (ie ST:TMP, STIII, STV, STVI, ST:Generations)
    Step 2: Create playlist with appropriate tracks
    Step 3: Profit

    I disagree with the OP. It's the Feds that need their own music. Every time there's a combat sequence it sounds like a cross between a klingon opera and the fight scene between Darth Maul and Qui Gon Jin.

    I think it should be something base heavy and primal, Nothing too complicated and definately not as soft as the the movie sequence themes.

    so where's the difference to federation-gameplay in STO?!
