General's Chariot (and part-time petting zoo)

I'm just wondering why my Gorn tactical bridge officer keeps a pet targ on my General's Chariot.

Since it is my veteran's reward shuttle, can I at least give the targ a name please?

    Now that would be nice, though I would prefer alternative 'company' aboard my private ship.

    To this day I still haven't figured out how my Breen tac officer managed to fit a targ bed in my To'duj fighter.

    I'm still trying to figure out how my Hegh'ta raptor has a targ bed with no targ... and yet i have one in my shuttle.
