I was just wondering, as long as your making changes, could we possibly get an option to have a camoflage option for the MACO ground gear?

Out of curiosity, which tactical consoles improve the damage of the Hybrid Weapons? Phaser? Disruptor? (Plasma)? Or do you have to use the Directed Energy ones to see an increase?

ETA: I just checked the weapons on Tribble, they are listed as Plasma-Disruptor weapons. This leads me to assume the Phaser listed in the patch notes is a typo. Also, the cannons are listed as doing Plasma damage and the beams are listed as doing Disruptor damage. So, again assuming that the info in game is correct you don't want to have both the beams and the cannons (like on a lot of escort builds) because you then HAVE to use the less effective Directed Energy consoles.

    Expounding upon the above post..

    Derp.jpg

    Still single-proc, still plasma orientated.
This +75% Accuracy buff though. <.=.< You can leave that there.

To answer the question though, the damage is tied into the actual display damage. So, in case of the P-D.DHC as it stands.. You would use a plasma console. And, as I haven't yet been able repeat the quest to get one, I would assume, disruptor console for the P-D.SBA looking at the reward tooltip.

You all are so sweet. Zero (the dog) is fine, he's just not mine anymore. While that's sad for me, it's better for him. It was great to be able to bring him to work with me, but he just had WAY too much energy to lay around all day. :)

I'll look into that plasma/phaser cannon thing. I'll admit that these patch notes were a little more rushed than usual because I was so eager to get this build up on Tribble as soon as I could. :D

    # The scanning minigame stays now above the contact window and will not lose focus when another window comes up.
    # Added an option, in basic options, to turn off the auto-hail feature.

Those are going to be VERY welcome when they go live.

    Thank you!

I updated the patch notes -- The electro plasma cannons are now PLASMA disruptor cannons, not phaser disruptor. :)

Glad the beam arrays are still phaser-disruptor. I'm looking forward to them!

Sorry to tell you, but the arrays are Plasma-Disruptor as well. There's still a typo in the patch notes. :D

ZeroniusRex is very much a she... :D

And is probably tired from having been in the office till after 11pm, so I can forgive her the missed typos. But like a previous poster I hope the +75% to accuracy is staying in the Cannons.

Rocky Horror Picture Show anyone?? :D

So Zero.... Seems I still need to ask for the vendor to be added to the next release so I can test the MACO set :)

PS, have you actually had any sleep??

QA just got a build that has the ground set added to the vendor that's on DS9, and I'm hoping to get that to Tribble soon.

And yes, I got sleep. Haha!

Zero, have you investigated my reports of those renegade lamps at Starbase 39?
Admiral T'Nae suspects that they may be Undine or Tal Shiar operatives in disguise.
Admiral Zelle just thinks she drinks to much.

One would think by now that it's pretty obvious that the Lamp Thing you have mentioned..., well..., numerous times...

Is NOT any where near the Top, of Their List-of-Things-To-Do.

And as I have said (also several times) the Lamps Might Just be Exactly the way They want them to be.

Not to dismiss your concern, but these Lamps that you keep bringing up, really aren't all that offending.

The ones Floating are not something all that far-fetched in a Star Trek setting, as ANTI-GRAVITY Platforms were seen as far back as episodes of The Original Series.

I agree that the ones in the middle of the main corridor are a bit of a pain, but they are easily maneuvered around in less than a second.

I'm not really sure why you keep harping on this very minor aspect of the game...?...

with dx11 on there are still lots of black areas on the floor. seemed even more than before. i have a radeon HD5770

    http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/xx26/revo_2010/screenshot_2012-01-24-09-04-55.jpg
The above image is how the DS9 corridors have always looked on my screen since dx11 support was added. I'm using a GeForce 8800 GT.

In addition, I've got these images to share of the black spots in the TOS corridors

Also, and I'm not sure how well you can tell on this image, but there is a triangular blacked-out area on my Advanced Escort (Hephaestus lower hull) "shuttlebay/vent/whatever" that is normally illuminated by the AEGIS shield effect.

Seems like a hard call to tell which mode I want to play in. With DX11 turned on, I have improved framerates and the textures that DO work are awesome.... but there are a few spots where the textures just aren't there at all and is pretty jarring. With DX9, slower framerates and the textures don't look quite as nice, but at least all the textures are there.

We've got some fixes for this coming up soon. Can't get them out this week because it means blah blah blah technical stuff so we'll get them as soon as we can. :)
