Mny of us have been begging for persistent PvP for some time now. We aint got it and the reasons I am sure are many. Inequity being one. It still needs to be limited and some form of parity implemented o it will become a gank zone... or so the argument goes.

We we have a schedule now, a calendar of events. What is stopping setting up one of the planets in the contested areas as some sort of eternal batlezone. At set points during the week just like with existing PvE missions like the Crystaline entity, this area opens up.

Over the period of time the instance(s) are open scores are being recorded. At the end of the sesison the faction perfrorming the best overall is awarded something as a more persistent benefit until the instance opens again.

This might be unique vendors, a modest buff, or access to a special transwarp, whatever. The point is that people can feel they worked for an objective and got something for it... for a time.

Being all instanced PvP missions fairness is maintained.

If I had my way soemthing quite similar to the Defari zone would be a good model to run with, local objectives of various sorts to be completed and local hazards (mobs). The major difference being the two factions are openly competing for the objectives instead of collaborating.

Sounds interesting to me as long as its a temprary reward that is only good in the instance and is nullified at the beginig of the new instance. CoH/V had something similiar in thier PvP.

Exactly. There are lots of features to this game that I think very highly of.
