Missions for someone Level 23?

New back to the game. Where should I be going to get missions for a character that is level 23?

    23 is Alpha Centauri area. There should be some missions listed in your Mission Journal which tell you where to go. You can also enter planets to see if there are missions there for you as well. They pay good XP.

    Thanks, but there is no special Space Station I need to go to and talk to X character to start such and such line of missions?
