Please give us a way to increase the attack and defense of Deployable Craft

There currently seems to be no way to boost the effectiveness of our Carriers deployable craft.

With the current skill tree there’s not much in there that will do anything beneficial for the Carriers launch units.

The old system had skills that could be speced into that were listed on our various fighters and BOP that stated they help out their effectiveness in some way; however, even then there was no way to test if the skills did anything for the craft at all.

I’d like to see a new skill added to the tree that clearly benefits the Carriers deployable craft.

We need some way to boost the damage, power draining, shield healing, defense, resistances and speed of our of our various craft.

To continue on the subject of deployable craft, would it be possible to give us some way to add the [Borg] proxy to our existing attack vessels.

How about a new crafting option that uses some of the existing in-game items that could add the [Borg] proxy and plasma resistance to whatever attack vessel we use to craft?

Example:

1 Rare Bird of Prey + 2 rare Borg Salvage + 5 Encrypted Data Chips + whatever else Cryptic throws in = 1 Very Rare Bird of Prey with a small damage and defense boost that has the [Borg] proxy and extra plasma damage resists.

There are quite a few options that could be used to help the carriers get a bit more production out of the deployable options that we have.

Cryptic could add a small damage and defense boost to the existing Flight Deck Doff that we have.

White quality Flight Deck doff = 2% increased damage and defense for all applicable vessels.

Blue quality Flight Deck doff = 3% increased damage and defense for all applicable vessels.

Purple quality Flight Deck doff = 5% increased damage and defense for all applicable vessels.

Could we get some new Carrier commands like Attack Formation, Defense Formation or Ramming speed?

I could try to go one but I’m sure there are others out there that might have better ideas.

    nuff said.
    And comparing to other "advancement" on KDF and the time it takes, with this they will have a full 2 year job to do...
    But enought of trolling. We have tested some skills on the carrier, but it didn't seem to buff your pets in any way. So basically, no skill is atm buffing deployed pets...

    As note for the Visual Statement: I would personally welcome the borg "deflector" the carrier in cure is using, since i like the look more on the carrier than the current borg deflector (and be honest, its fits the size of the carrier better ^^)

    For the commands i would say, first get them ALL working on ALL pets (BoPs, drones...) before even start thinking about implementing something new.

    The crafting option sounds good to me, imagine purple siphon drones... :rolleyes:

    I remember a point in time when player spawns benefitted from whatever defense buffs and whatnot the player used. Specifically, the scorpion fighters were the adds in question. If I recall correctly, the player community thought it was broken and was fixed by cryptic.
    I might be wrong.
    Since these ships can be launched/spawned/summoned as frequently as they can I don't think there is any need for buffs.
    I've been playing around with the voquv and karfi these last few days and I think what is probably more in order would be better AI for the little things. I had several bops they just flew around... stayed cloaked... attacked every now and again.... I had better luck with the tudoj fighters.

    You can always just send out more Fighters or things when they get destroyed but that’s not the real issue.

    Just like the Turrets and Torpedo that I load up on my Vo’Quv; I see my Deployable craft has my weapons and I’d like a way to upgrade my weapons.

    On its own the DPS that the Vo’Quv can produce is downright laughable.

    I have to combine my Carriers DPS + my Deployable DPS and my Damage orientated Science Skills to get any real damage output over all.

    Has the game continues to evolve players are getting better equipment to help with their damage and defense, better sets to increase their overall stats; however the Carriers deployable always remain the same.

    The our deployable attack vessels have nothing that Boosts their DPS or increases their survivability, no new attack options other than what they were given when they were introduced.

    I know that we been given a lot of new options to choose from with the new Deployable that have been added but it already feels like there outdated.

    We need ways to increase the base damage of our Deployable to keep them relevant in this evolving MMO

    It took 21 months for Cryptic to Boost the Damage output of the Vo’Quv’s BOP and they still seem way too weak. (Granted they are quite broken ATM)

    I feel that we need a skill added to the skill tree that allows us the option to boost the base damage and hull strength of our deployable craft.

    Everything in this MMO is getting bigger and better but the Deployable stay the same.

    So True,

    Even in the lastest build the Carriers BOP are still broken.

    The To'Duj fighters seem to be working a little better though.
