Hi I'm just about lvl 25 with my Fed and will be making a Klingon.
I've always preferred the underpopulated factions etc in mmos and Klingons are... well AWESOME.
Just wanting to know if there are major imbalances with class numbers on the Klingon side like tac, En, Sc or are they fairly even so it wont matter what I pick.
I just don't want to end up in groups with like 5 tacs because there are none of the other classes around. I'd rather not play as the most numerous class.
KDF Sci officers (specifically SCI speced as opposed to medic, but both are in sore need). They are the least common career in the KDF. Tacs are obviously the most common with engineers the second most common.

KDF Sci Officers, or Sci BOFFs? A favored tactic in PvP is the Sci Spam. Players in BOPs set different space sci skills, then unload all of them on a target. If the target is not destroyed, they cloak, and wait for the skills to cool off before trying it again. It is not fun being on the reciving end of that.
I suppose the closest equivalent would be healers/buffers. Yes, the science officers get most of the holds, buffs, debuffs, and heals.
Sci officers can be the equivalent of either Wizards or Clerics depending on what kit a player chooses. Engineers can serve as either rouges(trap makers) or clerics also, depending on the skills associated with their kits.

Well I see a lot of sci bop flying around.

The most played type of char in STO is human male TAC.
