I was just wondering what people's thoughts are on the Ch'Tang Bird-of-Prey. I'm mainly referring to the module that comes with it, the Subspace Jumper. Is it any good? Is it worth the Cryptic Points?

Oh the Bird-of-Prey that's a stealth ship isn't it? Go to the wow rogue forums and ask if they think shadowstep is a neat thing to have.

Or just get it. I like mine. Sometimes you just need another 3 km of pew pew on someones aft end. Or perhaps "gasp!" someone gets the jump on you and you'd like some free positioning. All three Gorn Sci Ship consoles are made out of win by the way. And guess what OTHER console goes right in there....yes....console of jumpiness. Because it does. And all the Sci consoles go in the BoP' too. Cheers and happy playing!

    Yes and No.

Yes, you will receive an infinitely better advantage over your opponent in PvP.

No, You will lose out on a console that my or may not aid you in the long run. Keeping in mind BoP is a good and fairly flexible ship but you have to keep in mind with this ability you will bee coming in and unloading your alpha strike onto someone to do as much damage as possible then using will only have you on an even stronger shield for you to break down.
Personally my own tactics as a BoP captain see me doing battle like 'jousting'; Attacking one part of your enemies shield, cloaking up, coming around and striking again.

Perhaps the best possible use would be against escorts and science vessels because cruisers are a definite no no.

    Atleast in my experience.

    ADDENDUM:

It really comes down to your play style with BoPs. BoPs are unique because of their flexibility and many captains don't use their BoP in the same way.
