Using Reshade 3.0.3 to help fix some of the lighting 2.0 gamma problems. Also using smaa and fxaa on top of msaa*8 with sharpness filter to take care of some blur caused by fxaa. Lensflare is using Lens and chap. Although lens is only visible and not chap in this pic. This is how I play the game. So the screenshot depicts what it looks like when i'm playing.
Desktop background perhaps? Yup just set it and I like. I should spend a few minutes getting a better shot. Meh to lazy.
Finally! My alpha channel woes seem to be sorted out! I decided to start a new alt just to see the whole game in the glory of Lighting 2.0. I definitely do not recall the KDF entry missions being this pretty.
And for today.. U.S.S. Earhart vs Borg - Part VII-X & Captain Eris's Excelsior.. the U.S.S. Aurora - Part VII-IX

LLAP!!!
You know... I know its a subjective thing... but seeing the wrong deflector texture for the Excelsior-class is unfortunate...
I admit, I'd prefer a canon deflector texture, too, but I love the Type 6 for the hull too much and hence have to live with the wrong deflector.. *^_^* !!!

Yep, still the best thread on these forums. Keep them rolling.

This is why I only fly the Sovereign. It has one bloody deflector, no matter what hull material I use.... (it does have some messed up effects right now though...)
I really need to learn how Demo Record to take such pretty screenshots, instead of just using the in game camera.

Here, let me help...
Most of what you're looking for can be found here. If don't want to download the referenced demo playback tool, or can't find it online, you can still play back the demo via the launcher; open its options menu and put -demoplay file.demo in the provided text box for command-line arguments.
As useful as demorecord is, there are obvious avenues for improvement. First and foremost would be actually integrating it into STO's front-end... so that when you log in you would see, in addition to 'Regular Play' and 'Create Content', a third tab: 'Demo Management'. Right behind that would be a 'reverse play' button and/or a 'timeline' similar to what many media players have, so as to assist players in finding those perfect moments...
That's it! XD How, I don't know yet, but I'll raise the EC and get the jj-prise and the jj-vengeance for my temporal agent XD
This is your fault, @kurumimorishita
Amazing shots ^^

Thank you very much *^_^* - and hehe.. well, I really can recommend getting them - both models are among the most detailed (esp. the K-Conny) ships in STO and they are both (esp. the Vengy) very capable, too!!!

Yeah they're both very very good! The vengeance isnt as pretty, and has problems with weapon fire clipping the hull. But it's a beast to fly. The KT Connie can only be called Cinematic. Every angle is stunning. I fly her on my AoY Engineering toon. Her weapon hard points really look good too.

Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.
Man, I need to get more shots of my ships in action from forward - I use gravity wells more consistently than even science team.
