My mind flashed back to the 70s and to art work on the cover of those old AMT kits. I put several of them together in the early 70s, but they got lost during a move.
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.
you know what i'd like to see...several side-by-side shots of the vengeance with every possible visual-altering shield for comparison purposes
naturally, such a thing would have to be in a well-lit system that doesn't throw off unusual lighting that might distort the looks too much
For some shields you'd actually need multiple photos - Dyson for example is very light-source-angle dependent. That is a lot of work.
The best you can get is that there is almost always a youtube video from someone that also shows off all set visuals.
STOUnrefined for example has one usually, and so he does in this case: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLmOy2_ttGs
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
Gave a fair shot to the dark Vengeance skin, still with the Counter Command shield visuals. I kinda like it, after all.
"I said let's get a closer look at that asteroid, not let's see what it tastes like!"
Actually, I was just thinking that with these dark colors, it looks like a brooding, moody, angstie teenager in dark clothes and eye shadow. You know, like Kylo Ren or this t-shirt.

Well, the only thing I hate about such dark textures is how they become impossible to see in many maps and in sector space. I like looking at all the ships, so hard to see textures are a downer! (Yeah, even the ones I'm busy destroying with extreme prejudice)

Hey, my own preferences lean toward white or maybe silver, but that's because I remember when the Enterprise looked white on my TV screen. I'm sure many would find that over the top, like rainbows and unicorns.
But it really is fantastic that we can make our ship to our tastes. So many options between parts, colors, and now the changes the shields can add.
The U.S.S. Vengeance hunting down Klingon patrol ships.
Hope you guys like it!
Very cool! Nice work getting the D4x and the Vengeance together.
Thank you very much! I used The Foundry to get it like that. It's a pity that I couldn't find The Enterprise from The Kelvin timeline or else I would've made a screenshot of a battle between The Vengeance and The Enterprise.
That KT Connie really is something, isn't she? I'll probably buy one with EC eventually. I don't think it's functionally worth going nuts to get for me right now, so I'll take my time. Thanks for getting me a KT Connie beauty fix, though!
Honestly, with that set and what I presume is a KDF player, the Ouroboros looks rather like a Vasari-Advent hybrid... the red lights in the first picture remind me of Vasari engine exhaust ports, even though the rest of the ship can't decide if it wants to be Vasari or Advent.
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.

Haha.. that's true!!!
"We might get pretty singed at that range, but not as singed as they're going to get. Engage."

I'm rapidly coming to love the looks on the Ouroboros when it's in action.
Yes-I'm, too.. just intended to get the trait and move on, but I'll certainly fly the Ouroboros again!!! Looks awesome and performs very-very well, too. Great ship!

Yes.. environment!
Which environment?
Your father was captain of a starship for twelve minutes. He saved 800 lives, including your mother's, and yours.

Nice. Are you using the Aegis set on that or if not, what space visuals are those? They look awesome.
Thank you and yup! ..you are correct! -> it's the Aegis set!!! *^_^*
