"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone

These are amazing shots! I looked through the whole album. Makes me want to go online just to take shots!
All these shots from everyone are brilliant : D
I think I need some more practice though, and currently I can't post any of mine, they're not on the Internet!

That looks a lot like the stretch warp effect from the new trek films. I like it
I was quite proud of this one:
Cool guys never look at explosions. Even cooler guys do it suffering heavy battle damage

I took this shot a while ago, before I knew how to get rid of the shields and stuff ... I'll work on it, I promise!
The U.S.S. Tyrannos, complete with no Engineering Console, crappy equipment, and accepted-as-they-came crew!
Looks like it was taken out of a Wings of Liberty loading screen. :P

Looks so convincing...
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.
