Does anyone have any information regarding the Nanite Disruptor Dual Heavy Cannons? I see a lot of these on exchange but absolutely no information on them either here in the forums or on wiki. If possible, send your replies to me @captainarmada. I'll try to keep looking back in here but there are so many topics in the forums it's hard to keep track. Thanks.

You might want to specify what kind of information you are looking for? Alternatively, I started a thread asking specifically if the nanite disruptor proc overwrites the regular disruptor proc or vice versa. You could follow on that.

This OP is old as heck and though good advice it can't possibly take into account the new sets and stat nerfs, and I'm not digging through 51 pages.
Is MACO shield XII + borg set still the best thing in the game for escorts or is there a romulan or Nukara set that beats it now?
It is a good choice.
Other choices are swapping in the elite fleet shields, adaptive, resB or resA depending on what you are running.
Also there is Omega 2p set for tetryon glider, if you want to trade in that borg heal proc for extra offensive punch with all energy weapons.
Or there is adapted MACO 2p, which gives a solid boost to torpedo dmg, and combined with those tvaro consoles that reduce torpedo cooldown, and some torp doffs, makes for a mean torp boat.
I couldn't speak to nukara, but romulan didn't really add much to displace that. Romulan adds more in terms of weapons and consoles than shield/engines/deflector sets.

Thank you for this post- it will help me loads as an escort pilot as I always end up with over a 2 min wait time due to dying.
What really amazes me though is cruisers are built to take tons of damage yet its the escorts that constantly get the aggro.
Its seems cruiser where designed to TANK....so why dont they? If its us escort flyers who get the tank job all the time due to dps output surely they should make it so we can survive a bit better?
With the way the new romulan expansion is with the way shields regen makes it A LOT harder now as a escort flyer in borg stf's .
In about a month i expect to see a couple of new builds around the new nukara space gear/weapons.
Bye bye shields is the mantra for nukara reputation and it benefits escorts who want hostile shields to go down ASAP.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Indeed. I'd also like to ask a question, myself. Is it worthwhile to go 3 DHC and a torp, with 2 Turrets and the borg cutting beam in the back? If so, what torp?
Sethketa, for the torpedo I would recommend either quantum (higher base damage) or "to flavor" (Harg'peng, RR transphasic, romulan plasma, tricobalt, etc). I would avoid "regular" torpedoes, like photon or plasma, they just don't seem to have the punch that quantums or special types have.
I personally use quantums.
And yes, 3 DHC+torp with 2 turrets and a KCB seems to be a popular choice, and for good reason. I've also seen people replace the torp with a DBB, or one of the DHC with a DBB, I feel its really personal choice. note that with only DHC's (no torp or DBB) you run the risk of running out of tac BOFF abilities, depending on the ship, unless you want to fill out the Lt Cmdr and Cmdr slots with attack patterns (which is also viable!)
I would think that running a DBB would be more of a liability due to the immense power drain from Beam Overload, and how it'd kill your DPS more than increase it. Unless you pop a Weapon Battery as often as possible, which also seems like too much micro-management for my tastes.
And I'm currently running a TER with TT1, CRF1, CRF2, ATO3 and TT1, TS2, ATO1 and TS1. I've considered investing in some purple Conn officers, so that I can run two copies of TS1 and replace TS2 with ATB, but since I cycle everything, I'm not sure how APB 1 would affect my two copies of ATO.
EDIT: Also, it isn't quite clear. I've heard that the Borg Regen shield is really bad, and yet on this thread I've read that regen>shield HP. And yet, in other sections I've heard you'll want those science consoles that give shield HP, rather than shield regen.. So, what exactly is a better idea to get?
NO, the MACO Adapted is best, I am on finished yet, and my fleet rank is not ret to the point I can go shopping, but, in my 2 years of Esperance having 2 skills

once one cools down you can activate it while the other is still cooling, I just used this to tank, my idea works good agents most if not all non boss ships

APB will fit into the gaps in the APO, so you get the same amount of APO, just with APB in between. As for regen vs cap, it's a bit tricky. Most of the time heals will do far more than regen, so cap is better, but with the Borg shield and high shield power it's possible to get enough regen to be more potent than the heals, which could well be more valuable than a higher cap. Although that will depend on the pattern of incoming fire, if it's too bursty cap will still be better.
But how will the Jem`Hadar Space set cope in PvE against all enemies, just for occasional play. I don`t wanna spend a fortune at fleet stores.

It's one of the better freebie sets you can get, and for a Polaron build, it would be pretty decent. If you have the Lobi to spare to upgrade it to Mk XII, that would be ideal, but for casual play, I'm not real sure. Might be decent, but you'd probably need the boost if gives Polaron weapons.
The is the ONLY message board I've ever been to that so vigorously fights grave digging, even at the expense of starting repeated redundant threads. It's very weird.
