I was hoping some of this had been fixed with the F2P Season 5 patch, but it appears not.
On several of the ground exploration missions you get beamed down to a town looking map and have to kill something like 5 groups of randomly generated mobs. I find more often than not regardless of my general's level, mobs spawn inside buildings, and buildings are hanging off ledges, etc. A work around for this is to crawl into one of the area's where the buildings are hanging off the edge, and get inside the building to kill the group of mobs. I've submitted countless bug reports over the last year, but it doesn't seem to have made a difference.
That bug's been around since I can remember. I've encountered it on my LG Klingons, as well as my newly created commander. This doesn't create the most welcomed environment for some of the new F2P players, and may turn them away from leveling a Klingon.
Anyway just a few observations I've had as of late playing on the Klingon side.
This bug has been around forever...well, since the Klingon got exploration missions anyway...
Kinda like the anomolies half buried in the ground that you can't scan but the tricorder will point you to them.
It's obviously unfixable...otherwise, it would have been after all this time...right?
There is a couple particular maps where it occurs mostly.
Notice ya don't have those maps Fedside...hmm...

I agree. I've got three Klingons at max level and i'm working on a 4th. It's always frustrating when you have to find interesting ways to get your missions completed. A lot of the new stuff like the First City are great additions to draw someone to play a Klingon. I can see how having to do things like we both mentioned is going to turn several folks away.
I hope they start taking a serious look at the Klingon faction since they have some additional man power resources to get these bugs corrected.
The explore thee systems reward in the T'Ong Nebula and D'Kel Cluster needs to scale with the player's level. If this is implemented, there would be no need for two different missions for the same area.
