We will be bringing the Tribble server down for maintenance to apply a new update.
ST.16.20111119a.9

General:
  • More polish to the Duty Officer window.
  • The design of the NPC Contact and map icons have been adjusted based on player feedback.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented item links from being colored correctly.
  • Completed Duty Officer assignments once again grant correct rewards.

(Better late than never with the patch notes, I hope.)

    I'm sure those fixes will mean a lot to people trying to finish things.

    No Pergium?
    Have my attempts to get the UM's renamed Pergium been shunned out the window into the garbage inbetween the Vulcan Lirpas that had "Dstahl Forever" engraved into them, and the Atari brand coffee mugs ?

    Be careful people...after the new patch I was able to collect rewards for some assignments, but not others. Not sure if there's a distinction but I stopped trying to collect rewards pending a full fix.

    Also, I have 12 assignments in progress but only 7 assignment points available. Before today I always had a total of 21 slots. A few hours ago it was 20, and now I'm down to 19.

    Not all of the doff missions can be turned in. Some of the missions have been corrected so a reward can be claimed but alot of mine are still bugged.

    I through away alot of xp on my fed before I caught that they were bugged, When I logged into my kdf i watched his missions and noticed some would complete with a reward and others would not because they are still bugged.

    Since there are people in here who didn't get rewards for all of their assignments, I will not even try to turn them in for now. Please have a look at them again today, and if possible please give us another hotfix for them. :)

    I just lost a critical success reward. Sorry, but this is not fixed yet. :(

    As mentioned in another thread, if the button text says "Collect Rewards" it will actually collect the rewards. If it says "Acknowledge Report", leave it alone until the next patch.

    Except those missions that have been finished during the bug's existence time. Those probably can never be turned in without losing all rewards. I hope seriously that there is still a chance to get even those though.

    Does this mean they've been completely removed and/or you've3 added an option for us to turn off those borrible looking things?

    folks... you may have to simply turn the ones in that aren't working right and go forward. It stinks, but typically patches and fixes in computer games do NOT always retroactivly fix issues.

    If you can do better go learn C++ and 3D max for your making graphics tool and have at it. Licencing a game engine is going to cost you a pretty penny unless you write your own. ((which by the way is what I belive Cryptic studio's did long aavo))

    I sent this to Rex:
    My Fed on Tribble had seven completed assignments that she couldn't collect rewards on. After the fix went up on Tribble, I found that those assignments that were completed during the time of the bug remained rewardless. Since then, the completed assignments have been changing from "Acknowledge Report" to "Claim Rewards", at an uneven rate, but something like one or two every couple of hours. Out of seven completed missions on my KDF character that were bugged, one I turned in after the fix went up, but before I found out the fix didn't fix them retroactively, and one changed from "Acknowledge Report" to "Claim Rewards". This led me to suspect that either the timer on those assignments were reset, just not visible, or a hidden timer of a different length was running on them. Just a thought.

    As I said to her, just a thought. I'm going to hang onto them and see if they change like they did on my Fed - especially since holding on to them doesn't hurt. If I just turn them in, I'll never get the rewards. If I hold onto them, I might get them later.

    except for us TRIBBLE who spammed the acknowledge report withour realizing they werent getting any rewards. damn me, i had like 5 critical succeses on 20 hour espionages! ahhhhh. must doff power up 8000!
