    Ship bridge officer stations now update correctly and do not require changing maps or relogging.

    Hopefully this should fix the ability to get extra bridge officer powers for your ship too.

    Um... is the 2x shield exploit finally fixed developers?

    I'd like to get some appropriate answer to this because it at this point PvP has no value at all.

    Don't Completed DOff assignments expire though after a set amount of time?

    I ask because I set some DOff missions going the other week, didn't log into Tribble for at least 3 or 4 Days, logged back in to find them all complete (All Success/Critical IIRC) but as I clicked though them I didn't appear to get any rewards. :confused::confused:

    made me glad i wasnt drinking a tea when i read it or i'd still be cleaning my screen, no rewards this close to the end when i'm so close to some t3s. Grr. (obviously not intentional though so i forgive)

    but absolutly no word on the ground skills? whats up with that?

    Purrhaps we get one or two days more of duffing, so you can still get Tear 3 before the patch goes live. :)

    Yes, I can confirm that you can still work towards your tier goals. The missions stay in the 'completed' if you don't turn them in, the slots for new missions are freed up as well as the Doffs themselves. So it's all good for now, except for the 'recruitment' missions, I"m good to go and still working towards my tiers.

    I'm glad other people saw this was working too.

    As soon as they patch the completed missions (hopefully so we DO get the rewards for them instead of them vanishing after a patch, which has happened before) I should be at T2 and working towards T3. If they wait a few more days to go live I might actually get my purple Doff, but I'd rather be able to compare T4 missions with T0 missions, oh well, after it goes to holodeck I can do that.

    You forget - I'll bet this Tribble build hits Holodeck this Thursday (bugs and all) - and we get another wonderfully forded, Marcom written Dev Blog (attributed to Mr. Stephen D'Abgelo) which again says how well everything went - so well that their pleased to diliver it to Holodeck "on time" (but conveniently forgetting to mention all te massive bugs and 'work in progress items it still contains.

    Then as these bugs come to light; they'll ask we report them - and promise evrything will be fixed by the time the 'official' F2P launch date of 1/17/12 arrives.

    I hate that I have to read every. single. page. of a thread BEFORE I log into the game. Had I known about this Doff rewards thing being frakked up I wouldn't have bothered logging back on today.

    Two missions turned in before I realized the rewards weren't being registered.

    I'm just going to crawl back under my rock again...sorry.

    I emplore someone over there to step forward and explain to us the reasoning for these things, why they were done, why there is no movement toward a mutually satisfactory solution, and if we will see these things addressed or fixed before F2P?

    To reiterate....
    • What is being done about the harhness of the dilithium tax and loss on conversion?
    • Will there be an inventory aid to help us with the burden of all the new additional currencies that have been introduced?
    • Will exploration remain in a state of shambles and near uselessness other than a daily 3-stop and what about aid missions not granting anything anymore?
    • Are the DESs going to get a similar replayability facelift and if so when will they be back?
    • What about the illogical placement of the FEs in the interwoven story? Will you consider keeping those seperate?
    • When can we expect crafting to be re-built from the utter wreck the current meager crafting system was left in?
    • Are you preparing Klingon content and when can we expect to see it? (i.e. how soon is soon?)
    • Will there be additional functionality to ship interiors (the #1 request during beta) since the removal of half of its functionality?

    ...and yes, like many players feel now, I do feel like I am talking to a wall
    ...and yes, I am very uneasy about the Tribble build going live when it does not include such things

    Think of it this way Cryptic -
    • You give us events - BUT - take away exploration
    • You give us a consolodate currency - BUT - added in additional inventory related currencies and take away 30% of our time.
    • You give us a new mission selection screen - BUT - take a way one function of ship interiors
    • You give us scaling mission rewards - BUT - take away Deep Space Encounters

    So far for most of what you have given, you have taken away or removed something of equal or greater value to us. I say most because the Doff system and STF changes were solid givens.

    This almost makes Season 5 - F2P a wash with little gain and heavy losses... Just food for thought.

    they took them away to fix them they are doing an overhaul of the exploration and diplomatic missions
    just like they did with patrol
    the only ship interior is lounge try end season 4 more like season 5

    hint this is the TEST server


    the issue I have is ship cap of 28 coming I have a serious issue can't discharge ship
    I can't get rid of newbie ship and duplicate ships

    that is on holodeck

    Problem there is that the Tribble patch is hitting Holodeck Thursday (likely, since there's ALREADY pre-patching up). Which means... this is the final patch most likely to hit Holodeck...

    Cryptic gave themselves a week-long window (Dec 1 - 8) for the F2P changes to go live on Holodeck. There's no guarantee that it will be this Thursday, could just as easily be a week from Thursday. Assuming it doesn't slip and miss the launch window.

    Lucky you...I turned in 5 or 6 before I realized it, came here to report it (since the bug report system on Tribble NEVER works for me, it ALWAYS says it timed out) and saw the patch notes....:eek:
    I just hope they fix it before they kick the build to Holodeck, I'm just less than 1500 away from T3....

    Exactly! 2181 Diplomatic XP down the drain for me! Please tell me when this is fixed we'll be getting our rewards!?!?!?! (I fear I already know the answer to that...)

    well, i just got a 'shard down in ten minutes for maintenance' bulletein, so they'll most likely fix the Doff problem :) not sure about restoring lost rewards though...

    If they could send that notice by bulletin, why couldn't they let us know not to turn in assignments by bulletin???

    me, i was lucky to have to have looked at the forums as i was downloading the newest tribble patch... so i knew not to turn in my recently completed Doff missions :) now i have about 15 seperate missions just sitting there completed...

    i don't know, probably because the bulletin only lasts a few seconds at most... but that's only what i think.

    It seems that after this patch my Carriers BOP and Fighters are still broken :(

    Still no fix on the clone boff issue... I heard they were working on it last week and i thought it would be fixed long before now...

    nope still no fix to the clones and they totally messed up the signs in esd. they looked cool and awesome before with being 3d looking, now they just looked flat and boring.

    OK So after this patch I still get no reward for Doff assignments. In addition, I can no longer start any new Doff assignments. Before the second patch, I could at least keep working on new assignments and just not turn them in yet, now it tells me I am out of assignment points and canno take on new assingments even though I only have 16 in progress.

    Anyone else having similar problems after the second patch?

    I was able to get rewards for a bunch of my Doff missions, but then when I hit a certain point I stopped getting rewards, so I stopped turning them in. Holding for yet another patch, I guess. :(

    I can, however, start new missions...at least so far. I appear to only be 1 short on assignment points...unless I'm supposed to have 20 and not 21. :p

    As of right now, I still haven't been able to get rewards for a single assignment. After I completed a few more, It did allow me to take on additional assignments but stopped once I had 12 in progress. Right now I have 12 in progress and 18 completed. I used to be able to have 20-21 going at any time.

    This bug in no way prevents you from completing content and leveling up.

    When I posted, after the first patch, the tutorial mission was literally the only mission in my log, and no other ESD missions were available to take. Not from Quinn, not in the mission screens. Unless I'm really missing something. O_o (And since I did the tutorial on holodeck yesterday, maybe I'm blind to the changes.)

    Also I was stuck at the title of Ensign, even though I was able to buy and equip a Connie and go fly around. But couldn't seem to pick up missions.

    EDIT: Ok, after downloading the latest patch, here are the screenshots of exactly what the mission boxes for my Ensign look like. All blank, all Hail buttons grey, all skill points spent, no prompts in sector space when parked next to typical mission locations, etc. etc.

    Zero, I genuinely enjoy your community interviews, and I'm really sorry that the community is full of jerks that jump on the devs and make things personal when they shouldn't be. But I just want to mention that this continues the unbroken streak of having my in-game GM requests for help ignored, and forum requests for help being ignored, even when other players were telling me they've had similar progress-halting problems.

    If I've honestly missed a prompt somewhere that will fix it all, I apologise for taking up your time. But I don't see what it could be.

    Best of luck with the switchover! Game is looking beautiful.

    You have to actually go to Admiral Quinn's Office and get the starting missions from him (if you have not tried yet)

    You also have to get the Cluster Missions directly from him to start them also.

    Nothing will pop up in your Mission UI untill you speak to him directly in his office.

    OK, looking at your pics, it appears you did go to his office... so I'm not sure what the problem is then.

    I'm going to start a quick toon and see if it happens to me also.

    EDIT: OK, I jusrt did the complete Tutorial with a TAC and everything worked just as it should.

    You may have to delete that Toon and start her over again. I don't have any other suggestions.

    I'm guessing it is not a fault, when you say it is a "problem" and it needs "fixed" you make it sound like a bug. It's probably just not finished, not a small task or priority compared to the fact the boff system does not fully work yet.

    I'll settle for twins within my 100 duty officers for some months but I do agree that it would be nice to see 100 none twin officerrs in my roster. Even better, not the same 100 per toon and no twins in the vendor.

    It's all work for them huh

    Grrrr..... i agree when are the possibilites of using the in-game bulletine going to be used to give up a heads up on thing that could potentially saves us the trouble of fracking up...

    *tosses hands up in the air*

    aside from that.... very disappointed on the additional console that were made.... why are we making saucer seperation and transwarp abilities that were made for the ship that were bought in c-store now made univerisally. who came up with that fracking idea.....

    *gleers intentively*

    if there was some early indication that there was a huge possibility of doing that then i would have saved my money. or better yet.... why not add a extra row or spaces to allow "special console" to be made for when you are adding those console... since we already have a tactical, science and engineering box for consoles...

    i would have like some form of communication when this was brought up...
