New Carrier Pet

That new carrier pet that is supposedly on tribble.
Which ship has it? The orion? And what kind of ship is it?
I can't seem to find it and wont spend any more fake cstore points to find it.

    This Carrier Pet (from the 17 Nov Tribble Patch Notes):

    •A new Orion Slaver carrier pet has been added.
    ◦It can be accessed in game from the Carrier Vendor if you own any Orion ship.
    ◦It does not come equipped on any carrier or Flight Deck Cruiser.
    ◦It drops mines and steals crew.

    So...if you own an Orion ship of any sort, you can get the pet from the Carrier Vendor...or at least that is how I read this.

    will try that out.

    So, this new Orion Slaver carrier pet , is it any good? Is it a tank or DPS?
    Can it go on other ships?

    I do not know the numbers, but my experience with it seems to be similar to the To'duj fighters but with photon mines instead of torpedoes. I am not sure exactly how it compares, but I seem to have similar success with it.

    Apparently you can put 2 of them on a ship but when you launch them you can only have 2 wings out at a time for up to 6 small craft out at once instead of 12 out at once like the other fighters do.

    Yes, and unless they fixed it you can shoot the NPCs there. Some anyway.

    Not a nice thing to do mind you but certainly sounds fun
