Puyjaq Raptor

I absolutely LOVE the look of this raptor.

So much so that even though it is T4 and not T5 ... I'm going to make the thing work at end game (something helped by their being 4 fore weapons).

Even so, would love to see the skin available for use on the T5 raptor.

    Totally agrees to your last comment line. I was hoping that the T4 skin of the Puyjaq be use for the T5 raptors, just as the feds gotton to use the lower tier sci ship skin of the Bellerophon class on their T5 Retrofit Intrepid.

    So in light of that fact; they've got to let us use the Puyjag's skin on the T5 raptors, I hope!

    Problem with that is that the T4 Intrepid and defiant have T5 counterparts, whereas the Puyjaq is a Pach refit, not a Qin refit.


    I love the looks of this ship too

    I have my concerns on the console (chroniton on roids with silly long aux dependant durations) and I was wondering if we had an official comment on why this ship was never released for feedback on a test server such as redshirt?

    I really don't understand why they didn't make this skin available for T5 when there are so few skin options on the KDF. It really seems like such a glaringly obvious addition that could have made a lot of people happy but instead it's "wasted" on a mid level range ship that people will quickly level out of. You would think that since the majority of people end up spending most of their playtime at max level that this would have been a logical conclusion. Why is everything at Cryptic always feel like 1 step forward and 2 steps back. FWIW if any dev actually reads this do me a favor and pass along to the approprite monkey braintrust they dropped the ball.......again.

    Exactly. There's no Pach Retrofit or Refit. The only KDF ship that actually has something like that is the Vor'cha, since there's a T4 and T5 version (with the Vor'cha, Vor'kang, and C-store skins).

    I would just like a certain level of ship costume cross-over to better specialzie the look of my vessels, so as to draw parts from amybe not all ships but definately parts from the same class of ships.

    Excuse me.. you play KDF.. nobody cares what you want.. *runs and hides*

    But seriously, if they did that for KDF (which, while the ships tend to be more similar in their lines) they'd have to do that for Feds, because you *know* there'd be an outcry. Then, there would be quite a few frankenships. Regardless, while I do want more customization for KDF ships, they're still *different classes* (the T3 is not the T4 is not the T5) and until the KDF get more than just one Refit (the Vor'cha), I don't see them allowing multiple tiers to use the same costume, nor would I *want* that. Some of the ships would look stupid, IMO, if they could grab parts from earlier ships.

    Plus, where would you stop it? As of right now (for instance), the K'T'ingas are separate and distinct costumes (no swappabel parts) and if they did get them, would you really want to see a K'T'inga saucer/neck on a Negh'var? I wouldn't. it would look absurd.
