For me I'm not really a big fan on the Exploration and Encounter Missions. I understand its underdeveloped and they rose the playable Klingon Faction Requirement Rank to 25 (not its in effect on Holodeck) but i hope there's some additional missions in the future
Cryptic has promised full KDF PVE content since open beta and just agauin and again told us"something will be coming soon". We got some bugged missions and Fleet Actions, and I don't be
This is just my opinion on Storyline Missions/Content is that we KDF players can harp on getting more until our foreheads go smooth but it will just be the same old story like in any game we will play them a few times and then be bored with them and then expect more. What I am hoping Cryptic is doing is giving us some kind of dynamic system of conquering or whatever where its not the same missions over and over again and something a lot more random and fun than exploration facerolled keyboard alien names and unscannable ground objects to find. The DOFF system I would have to say is probally besides the ships looking star trek is the first Star Trek feeling thing to come to the game. Reason I said we need some kind of dynamic super random activities to do is when events unfold in the series and movies you never knew what they would find or come across and yet in a game like this doing such repeated missions the pixels of star trek begin to lose their weight. I think they should keep the replayable feature for the missions but I also believe there needs to be a platform for constant new events to be able to unfold to give us what we all really want. Right now tho with current established priorities I do not think we are going to be seeing any new storyline content or new playable factions due to this new system on tribble is prolly gonna be rushed out before its completely ready by the higher up which will take a lot longer of time frame to fix everything that was unforseeable. Just my opinion as well is that all of these things most of us do not care about like exploration and fleet actions they serve no purpose or enjoyment and think they should have been scrapped since they are buggy and don't give us anything worth our time and just implement things we would enjoy That just my 2 cents plus some.
It been two years to this point in time. It has been a rocky, frustrating road. If your primarily a Federation player life has been good. If you have been a Klingon player, and your STILL playing, as I am, I happen to think your a very very special sort of player . For KDF players there has always been a content drought. We KDF have had to find a way around the lack of content from the day the game launched. When the game launched there was more then a bit of PvP heaven.. if you were into PvP. But then the nerfing started coming because too many fed players complained that KDF ships were over powered, especially BOP class. A lot of KDF players left the game when that happened and with good justification and shortly there after PvP died off so badly that Fed-v-Fed pvp had to put it in just to keep PvP going. If KDF ships had been left alone STO might still have those players. Instead, KDF got nerfed, and that on top of the lack of content left KDF specific players with no further interest in the game and not renewing thier subscriptions.
Back in season 2 some content was added and exploration zone created for the KDF faction seeing that PvP pretty much dissapeared. They were buggy and while not as bad as they ONCE were there are still bugs that crop up in the exploration zones. But, at least we have thewm buggy or not.
Because one group of the player base got selfish and whiney about the "big bad unfair KDF adavantage", and what followed, a great may KDF players simply left the game. If I hadn't allready had a Life Time Membership, I would have left also. On the other hand, I hate bullies, and I find it slightly amusing that I as a Klingon player get "Trek" better then apparently a good many of the more vocal KDF bashing federation players. The stories of the Trek universe are not, and never have been about how the federation conquers the universe through it "superior morality" They are told from a mostly federation POV because thats is more recognizable to the human viewers of THIS time period in history, and north america. Some of us though are a tad more cosmopolitan in out look and realize it not about the human experience, but the "On going mission. To seek out new worlds, new civilizaions, to boldly go where no one has gone before"
But, whats done is done.
My only hope is that the lesson was learned. There is reason to belive it has, but beliving it, and knowing it..well, you get the picture.
Still, I keep suggesting, and I keep posting. Mostly because I still do NOT feel I have gotten my moneys worth yet out of STO. Not as a KDF players. Not by any stretch of even a fertile imagination which I just happen to have one of.
Welcome to the side of the game that gets everything, but not nearly as good or powerful as the Feds.
Welcome to the faction that will get blaimed for being Over powered, when the Federation is giving everything.
But at least we have Bloodwine and Cake.
I don't mind the KDF ships being nerfed in PvP because even when killed/destoryed, we still win! (Die to another player captain missions, remember?)
That being said, I am content with the KDF right now, I just wish the Devs would add more PvE missions focusing on both the war with the Federation, and the invasion (recapture) of Romulan space.

Yes we know. The KDF faction is ****-poor on real content.
We are waiting again to see if it comes this time.
If it doesn'ty then PvP will not be the only thing most likely disapeering from the game.

The "Great Tribble Fleets" are making way to for the Klingon homeworld. :D
