Cant start the vault klingon

Captain 6, flew all over the psi velorum sector, hailed the contact repeatedly, cannot get the mission started. Just finished running a fed up to VA so I know I should be able to do this series of missions now. Also completely stalls my character progression since the missions are EXTREMELY foolishly linked and gates all forward progress.

If anyone knows a trick to get this mission started please let me know... Thanks.

    You did go and actually talk to the shuttle vendor person, not just grab shuttle (like your Vet shuttle) and fly off yes? Err.. not that I did that on a character and have firsthand experience or anything.. >_> <_<

    I havent grabbed a shuttle since the mission has not yet been assigned to me. When I hail the mission giver, he says something to the effect of he is busy. I have also flown all over the psi velorum sector trying to trigger the mission to no avail.

    If I get no joy from the mission once I hit RA1 or the klingon equivalent, I will try flying around in a shuttle in the same way.

    Oh. Hrm.

    Did you go and physically talk to him yet? If I recall, you needed to physically talk to those quest givers to get the vault quest because there was someone else there you had to talk to, then talk to the shuttle person, along with grabbing a shuttle.

    I had a similar issue where it seemed you needed to talk to someone for one of the DS9 missions, but you actually had to go near to DS9 where the mission popped up. There was no other way to get it, which I did'nt realize, and so was doing nebulas, patrols, etc, waiting for it to pop up.

    Oddly, it allowed me to get the mission at captain 7 not sure why as I thought it was a level 31 minimum mission. Regardless, got it rolling again now.

    and yes I remember that DS9 sector mission where you had to fly there to get the mission to go...

    Actually, Fed side, I had a *lot* of that "I"m busy now", then after I gained a level, I got the next mission from T'nae. So, for at least half of the Romulan Series, I could only do one mission per level. It was very odd, and the only front where I believe that happened.
