I'm curious about carriers...

Will we ever get a carrier type that carries a massive amount of ships but hardly has any weapons of it's own at all? Like a fleet flagship carrier or something? I know it might not be PvP viable depending on what ships it gets, but Iwouldn't mind spamming my own mini army in PvE at least. (I solo a lot.)

4 weapons, 4 hanger bays?

...or even 2 weapon slots, 6 hanger bays? Lol. :P

Maybe add some skills that affect deployable ships.

    I requested a gorn eng carrier. Basically looks like a massive generals chariot.
    Turret only. 3 bays but releases ships twice as slow.
    Went over like a lead balloon.

    For what it's worth, my dream Gorn carrier would be like the Kar'fi (just not that ugly) but with all the red and yellow BO and console slots reversed.

    I really wouldn't mind an actual fleet type carrier that relies mainly on deployable ships completely for protection rather then it's own weapon systems.

    omg yes. it is still one of the best ships in the game.
