promotion not giving enough dilithium

Just got the promotion to commander and went to pick up a heavy escort ( im tac officer ) and its given me 8000 , not the 10000 the ship is :(

    You might want to read the 10,000 other threads that have been put up about this.

    It's not a bug, it's a feature. Cryptic wants you to have to earn your new ship.
    If you're doing regular stuff that will earn you dilithium it takes about 4 hours of work to earn the 2000 dilithium difference between what they give you and what the ship costs.

    yeah and I think they need to give gold members out free ship tokens back :).........but yeah i hit captain and had to grind away for about 6 hrs to get the rest,,,,kind of nuts when we are used to one way. Good i guess as it makes you work more but they really need to give us more dilthium than they are....
