You all hate Cryptic?

Listen, I know stuff look broken, doesn't work the way you want....yadda yadda yadda. Maybe I'm missing something, but what about "beta test" doesn't tell you that stuff will be broken? Honestly folks, I'm no Cryptic apologist, in fact I post very few things, but to whine and cry about stuff on test server is like ****ing in the wind. Its warm, but accomplishes nothing. If Cryptic releases the stuff on Holodeck then complain. But base on the whining and crying, they probably won't. They already changed the ship acquisition because of the cry babies. Silver is coming , gold and LTS, deal with it . You can't satisfy everybody all the time.

I don't hate Cryptic. I am a little concerned, but in the past, when I've been patient, i've been mostly happy with the results of their work.

Beta testing is fun too. All it needs is a few tweaks imo.

Shhhhh. Shhh.. Trying to bring logic to the test boards is like trying to convince the Picard crowd that Kirk was a better captain..

Your one word says it all "patience"
Tribble is a work in progress.

I think that's what I said, as I didn't say trying to convince the Kirk crowd that Picard was a better captain. :P

And yeah, for the most part, I like Janeway more.

Well, there are people on these boards that can be quite civil,
but others are quite.... let's say passionate about this game.
And this passion seems to overshadow at times the things they've been taught when they were children.
Things like proper conduct in public places. Or what words to use and not to use when trying to convey their thoughts.
    It can be quite offputting.

As for the beta: you guys are right, beta is beta is beta is beta is beta is broken.
If it weren't broken there wouldn't be a need for the beta in the first place. :D
Anyways, grinding my character to Captain rank at the moment, unfortunately I was already Commander
when the dilithium-ship fix hit the server....
Oh well, doing this in T2 cruiser is manageable, but I had an easier time on holodeck
with the proper ship und missions that didn't scale to my level. ;)

My buddy like Voyager, however in the 90s and early 2000s I was getting married and having kids so I never go tto watch Voyager, I alwasy liked TOS and DS9 more than TNG, but recently I have watched Voyager on Netflix and honestly, I really feel more for them than I did DS9 or TNG(Nothing beats Kirk). Enterprise is good, its hard to back. Its like doing first grade math after mastering algebra. I don't know why they even did that series.

    ARCHER.....

Really? Enterprise? I'm sorry and I respect that you like it, but its hard to go backward after so much forward. Enterprise was like Nemisies, forgetable.

Sisco was the most interesting Captain, Archer had the hardest job, and Kirk was sex on legs. And I'm not TRIBBLE. But I think I have to say that I like Earl Grey. Hot.

Eh, Enterprise could have been good if they combined the best episodes from the first to seasons and shortened the Xindi thing, and made *that* the First Season. The 4th season started getting good, but by that time, the writing was on the wall. I think the 5th season (which would most likely have had the NX Refit) could have been excellent as the writing by that time was really in its stride, and could have focused on the founding of the Federation.

(As an aside, I wish they could get the rights to the NX Refit, because I *love* the look of that ship.)

Is it weird my most favorite shows are the ones that feel the least like star trek?
So, DS9 all the way and I really enjoyed Enterprise as well.
TOS and TNG are on about the same level after that, and then Voyager at the far end.
VOY's characters never really did anything for me, but I have to admit I did enjoy looking at 7of9 from time to time.
Well, it had a couple of episodes that weren't bad, but overall, to me, it was the worst show of the five.

DS9 always felt Trek to me; it was just the darker side of paradise imo.

DS9 is my least favorite series. Strangely, it also has my two favorite Trek episodes.

EDIT: Second least favorite. I try to blot Voyager out.

I liked Ds9 a lot,. I had hard-on for Kira. My wife kids me about that to this day. But Kirk is the man, nuff said. Picard is such a vigina. sisko also had balls as did Janeway.

Back to topic, why using subsriber money for finding bugs? Not so perfect world STO is living and its community that gave their everything to support original game and yes i am talking about money.
