Stars Graphics and Create Ticket Error

While flying in the Sirius Sector Block, I noticed the the star graphics start to look like white squares when another game window is up. I was moving at maximum at the time. It did this when the C-store window was up, and it was doing it again when the the help/bug window was up.

Also, I still getting the create ticket error: "timeout waiting for response from server". Should we just use the forums?
