Exploration Dailies and Dilithium

Is anyone else finding some Exploration Dailies give you Dilithium Ore while others do not? For example, Delta Volanis does not offer dilithium to me while Khazan currently does.

Is this a bug or is this intended?

    I''ve seen the same thing but don't know if its a bug or not. Also just to correct you a little you get refined dillithium not ore for the dalies....at least I did when I did them about an hou ago.

    I dropped a few to re-start the missions so I can see the reward... It seemed as though DV and Arcanis Arm do not have Dilithium as a reward, but from Hromi on they seemed to offer one, don't know if it's a bug or not either -- as they did specify that Dailies (Exploration or otherwise) would reward some Dilithium.

    It was very sneaky of them to make all explorations dailies. They are trying to force people through the mission chain.

    yea i'm pretty upset over the whole thing, i dont even run missions until i have all of my current lvl exploration gear. Grinding new toons looks like its gonna be terrible. Unless they make it repeatable like before i am gonna quit tribble until they throw us explorers a bone.

    This is a problem on the Klingon side as well. Last night, the T'Ong nebula wasn't offering any dilithium for completing the exploration missions. The D'Kel nebula was, but only for the commander level mission. I haven't ranked up enough yet with a Klingon to see if there are problems elsewhere.

    I did the Rolar Nebula daily last night and it didn't give any dilithium, either.

    I did a DV daily and got 1060 refined dilithium.

    I did Delta Volanis, Aruchanis Arm and Hromi Cluster explorations before they started getting dilithium. You got a "level appropriate item" the first two or three times you did them, not after that. It appears that the dilithium is shaping up the same way, which is really stupid since it's a daily mission. Daily missions shouldn't drop rewards. I'm currently a Commander 4 and the only exploration mission on which I can get dilithium are the Khazan Cluster and Afehirr Nebula. (thanks again, Cryptic :rolleyes:)

    I did the Rolar Nebula and Betreka Nebula dailies and got Dilithium Ore (~1440) from each. However, all the lower level explore missions were only offering skill points and BOff points as rewards.

    It appears that they've decided to make the exploration dailies only available for content at your level. So if you're Captain 5 you'll get the explore daily for Rolar and Betreka. If you're lower level, you'll get the ones for the exploration zones around your level. Once you've out-level'd them they start giving skill points and BOff points.

    at LTC D'kel gave dilithium but I haven't done T'ong yet to see ....

    You remember in Holodeck when you did the missions Aid the Planet you get a nice item (weapon,console etc)? Yesterday I did several of those and only few gave me an item, the rest gave me nothing, this happened in DV

    They should really make Aid the Planet missions give out bonus diplomacy/marauding exp and get rid of the item reward.
