Remove Featured Episodes from the other story arcs

Remove FEs from the story chain progression and allow them to be accessed as they currently are on holodeck. The Breen, Devidian and Romulan FEs should be acessible early on to allow people earlier access to the dailies associated with them and the dilithium rewards for the dailies. Keeping them locked and/or level gated as they are now is ridiculous.

I've only unlocked the Devidian FE so far and I won't atest to the others. But knowing the Klingon Front, having the Devidian FE thrown in the middle of it did seem off. The level lock I'm okay with. Having them gated is on iffier ground. I'm waiting for the others to pop up (I haven't looked at when they will show up, it's not like I could do anything about it anyways) to see how they mesh with the forced episode progression.

However I would like to make another comment. One of the cool things about the FEs when they were coming out was the weekly anticipation for the next episode (Yes DStahl, it was like my weekly ST fix). Not being able to play a new FE because of locking/gating would take a lot of the fun out of them.

think they should be thrown in at the end of the klingons not in the middle as it did seem off

The way I read it a while back, they were planning on putting old FEs into the story arcs, but new ones would be done like they have been. When the new one is no longer featured, it will get stuck into the leveling proccess as well.

Putting them into the story line arcs after they are featured would be okay. Hopefully they could do it better than shoehorning them in like the Devidians. Maybe it wouldn't be so noticable though if I hadn't played the Klingon Front and Devidian FE seperately ages ago, but I did.

Considering the good amount of equipment available in the Devidian arc, I would like to see this one at least as early as possible. Especially now that it's going to be harder to acquire decent equipment and ships right after rank-up, that Skirmish shield, the blue phasers and the assault weapons are reeeaaaally nice and cheap!

At least change the level requirements of them. There is no real use for the breen set when you can get the borg set, or AEGIS set at endgame. The Breen should be unlocked at lvl 20 and Cloaked Intentions should be around 30. Although I would rather the entire thing be unlocked. As stated in another thread, the locked story progression should be a feature of silver membership, freeform story playing should be a feature of gold. In order to keep pvp balace with this, the FEs would need to be unlocked for both gold and silver players.

Well, the placement of the Davidians was ok. It was a much needed break doing Commander missions in a LTC ship. I didnt get blown up as often or have to run around like a BB being shot on ice.

The Romulan feature episodes being unlocked at the end of the Romulan missions is WAY too much. That is just too much Romulan. What 20 something pure romulan/reman missions? Its really ridiculous where its placed.

And I havent unlocked the Breen missions but I think they unlock somewhere in the Admiral levels.

Please for the love of all that is good, remove the Featured Episodes from the story arch. They dont even fit in the stories that you have in the game. Why chain them to them?
