Why Do Particle Fragments Vaporize in Your Bank Slots or Inventory?

I had two instances of Particle Fragments vaporizing (stating that I used them) when I had them stored in my Bank and then later in my Inventory. What are Particle Fragments, how are they to be used, and why do they like to run away when you store them? I presume this is a bug.

    its not a bug they are for something that isnt in game yet. They actually disintegrate when you store them so best discard them asap as they are worth 100ec each
