My character has achieved Lt. 9 so far. While i'm sure that more bugs will pop up as I continue to play, here are a list of bugs I've experienced so far:
1) The Report a Bug option does not work. Attempting to file a bug report while in game has, so far, only resulted in getting a notice that the system has timed out. This effectively makes reporting a bug in game impossible.
2) Systems failing to load. What I mean by this is that you warp into a system and there is nothing but darkness present, no planets, no ships, nothing. So far the only I've found to fix this is to warp out and then try again. So far this has happened in SS Azura, Beytan, Bhea, and Tazi.
3) Maps resizing by themselves. This applies to both the sector maps when pressing "M" and the mini-maps.
4) The Bomari System is bugged. The ground scenario where you are to download data will suddenly say "transfer interrupted". There is no fix for this other than to beam out, wait 5 minutes for it to reset then try again. I had to attempt this 4 times before it functioned properly. The next part of the mission to defeat the Undine ship is also bugged in that it is nearly impossible to destroy the ship in solo play. The frigates spawn too quickly and the Undine ship is quick to heal.
5) Particle fragments. What are these, why don't they have a description, and why are spontaneously used?
6) There is a lag while firing beam weapons. This is slower than in normal play and does not seem to occur to enemy vessels.
While not a bug, there are two things I will comment on that I am disliking about the changes so far. First starting out in the tutorial in first person shooter mode. I enjoy the traditional mode and the loss of mouse ability was disconcerting at first. It might be wiser to give players the option of switching back and forth first rather than later on in the tutorial to discover which mode they prefer. The second comment is on the crafting system. I sincerely hope that limiting crafting to the odd level marks I, III, V, VII, IX (with the exception of mk XI) is temporary. These are not levels that players prefer using. Why use a Mk III when you can use a Mk IV? These are also levels that do not trade well (if at all) on the exchange. This effectively makes the purpose of crafting useless, with the exception of the Aegis items, the Horta, and the Delta Flyer until you are at the VA level and use mk XI items.
