Researcher Rescue Mission Bug

Researcher rescue mission cannot be completed, after rescuing the hostages and warping into sector space, it shows that the mission is still stuck at the Ancient Claims portion of the mission. If i were to try to continue from there it just brings me to the surface to beam up and in space asks me to warp sector space, and it just gets stuck looping all over.

    Fixed by restarting the whole mission.

    next time go back to down to the ground map if you can and kill the pets me and a team had this problem last night and it was fixed by us killing all the pets but yes i agree this is probly a bug but as we didnt do the mission properly we agreed it was us and not a bug

    I found a different bug on the same mission.The Gorn Captain got out of the shield when I attacked the center. Next thing I know, my science officer is telling me Gorn ships are approaching and I haven't even finished the mission objectives on the ground yet.

    EDIT: Perhaps it is the same bug. I have to redo Ancient Ruins now after beaming out the hostages :/

    I have an identical bug to the original post. I logged out, came back in, was able to restart the ground mission, but at the end, in sector space, it gives me the option to return to the ground mission, and an endless loop.
